We had a great sales rep (Aaron - Holland, MI store) that helped us find a bike that would fit me and my biking abilities. He was very patient and spent lots of time with us. He is very knowledgeable. We purposely came back when he was working to pick up the bike as he was aware of our situation/sizing, etc. He went an extra step with us and put the mirror and bell we purchased on the bike before leaving the shop.
We have purchased all of our bikes through West Michigan Bike and Fitness, but typically use the store in Grandville, MI. Parking lot area to test ride bikes is much better in Holland.

I like your service staff because they are very knowledgable and offer information to help educate you, but are not pushy sales people. The bike selection is great! I love the Trek line because they are quality bikes. I bought a different brand of a bike 2 years ago, and regretted it, so I came back to Trek and bought a much better quality bike.
I think you need to expand your accessories to more items : More shirts (even t-shirts), more bike accessories. Offer more products of different price points and have a few events or a pack of coupons that could be used for other products and services each year for "customer appreciation" - this would be for people that have purchased bikes from you in the past. Invite them back into the store with discounts and more products so that they don't buy from Amazon. Right now, there really isn't much to "shop" for in.your stores, and you have so much extra space to fill with clothing racks or different biking products. It would be great if you had a contract with 1UP bike racks because the ones you sell are bulky and too big.
