Everyone was really friendly! I’m so sad to hear that they will be retiring and closing. I purchased a bike for my son and Susanna was so nice and helpful! Thank you Beacon!
I was extremely happy with the service and bike and bike rack I purchased at Beacon. Scott came out and evaluated my "very old" bike rack and said he didn't think it was appropriate for the model car I had or would support the bike. He picked out an appropriate one and put it on the car for me. He explained to me step by step how to put it on correctly and how to put the bike on correctly.
When I was ready to drive away, my car's park assist would not let me go in reverse. I couldn't move. I had to remove the bike, move the car, and put the bike back on. I went back in to see if there was no way to override the problem in the car could I return the bike rack. Scott said yes and then went on line to see if he could find how to change the settings in the car. He was truly concerned about my predicament. He suggested I stop at the car dealership, which I did. He asked if I call back to see how things went. Luckily the dealership was able to solve my problem. I was amazed that someone at the store went above and beyond to help a customer. That kind of service you don't see anymore. I am so sorry Beacon is closing!
There will never be another Beacon 😥. Thanks for all same day service to get me back on the road. Thanks for all the cups of coffee and shop-talk. Thanks for seeing past what I look like and seeing me for who I am.
To all my Beacon family I wish your winters always mild, your legs forever strong, your summers filled with endless destinations, and of course...may the tale winds always be behind you. 🌞🚵♂️🤙

Want to take this opportunity to thank you for the years that you have been in business and will miss having Beacon Cycling. Your business has been happily entwined in the milestones and memories of my family's lives. My first first road bike, my first triathlon bike, the multiple bike seats for my children and their own bikes and now my grandchildren as well as most recently my grandchild's first bike. I hope Susanna and Mitch get to enjoy the retirement that they so richly deserve and realize the wonderful impact they have had on other peoples lives.
