You have so many choices
I don't really take part in the programs. I just do my own thing. Usually once a week. I'm so glad I have the Y to come to.
great group classes.
need to revisit the policy allowing biological men in women's changing rooms.

Wide variety of times and things to do. All staff friendly and site is very clean!
Like the temperature of the lap pool. Like Saturday yoga. like the variety of activities offered. Like the homey feel of the North River YMCA. Would like to see a shower head put on the out of service shower in the ladies pool locker room like that on the on the currently operable shower. Would like to see larger lockers in the women's locker room.
The YMCA provides a safe place for our whole family to grow and play.
My Trainer Andrew Hilton is so great and has had a significant impact on my health and fitness!
Very nice equipment in a comfortable and friendly environment, flexible times, great staff
The pool and the class in the early morning with Kim is awesome! I love how friendly and kind people are at this YMCA. I like walking by the children's area and see them playing. The staff is kind and helpful. I do wish we could have towels like downtown. It appears that they have stepped up on cleaning but there is still cold, cold water in the ladies showers in the morning! I like the diversity I see, with young people, old people and children.
Our special needs boys can swim!
It's the physical space, to be honest. High ceilings, lots of natural light, those are HUGE for me. And your staff is lovely, well trained, supportive, inclusive, and very pleasant. That's culture, so you should be proud of what you have created and fostered.
Pullbacks: parking (but I'm sure you know that :) and for me, its old treadmills, especially treadmills with loose treads - dangerous! I will say, the new ones at your location are an improvement, which is why I come to your facility. And just a sore point, men HOG the free weights, no manners on working in or sharing. Just get off your phone and step away so someone else can use the bench, equipment, etc. Perhaps that can be encouraged/taught.
Suggestions: I worked in ATL and commuted back to CHA for the weekends, so I moved my gym memberships to ATL for over eight years. What I discovered was a vast difference in the cardio equipment, specifically at The Forum Athletic. The fees were comparable to what I paid in CHA, but the treadmills - unbelievable! I've been running for over forty years and came inside to the treadmill over ten plus years ago because of schedules and my back was hurting running on pavement. I traveled a great deal, for work, so I became an expert on hotel treadmills, which can fall under good, bad, and really awful. At The Forum, they invested in Lifefitness Flex Deck Shock Absorbtion System. I know they are pricey but there are no words to describe the difference between that treadmill and all the others - no comparison. Even the width is so much safter that anything else, besides the tread system. As you look to future upgrades, I would urge you to consider that line. It is worth the investment.
I love the access to a lap swimming pool that is at a cool temperature instead of a warm pool like Hamilton Place.
The variety

I enjoy being able to strengthen my muscles in the workout room
