Only used outdoor pool

But we were confused with all the lap lanes as to how to spend any time in that area to just tread water. People were swimming, maybe only have 4/5 lap lanes in peak times? Life guards said we could hang out there but people were telling us they were using the lane
We like the heated pool and the exercise classes for all ages!
I love that I can workout and have my toddler in childcare at the same time!
I participate in the Monday and Friday morning step classes. Both Crystal and Nicole are great instructors. They are friendly, prepared and lead us in a great workout. I really appreciate the cardio options! Thanks!!

I like the laid back atmosphere and the pools.
I don’t like that the lifeguards do not watch for children getting in to the adult part of the pool. This has happened on the 3 times I have been there. One time I was able to get the life guards attention after several minutes. I am concerned for their safety. It’s the #1 cause of death in little ones. Drowning. Please asks Your lifeguards to be aware. Thank you.

Water park
A very welcoming environment with many options for exercise.
Please replace and rehang your punching bag. It is old, the hanging straps are torn, and it is hung way too low. All of these issues, especially together, make it not only difficult to use but so dangerous, too. Someone could seriously get hurt because it’s hung improperly and the straps are broken.
Love everything about the Y except the locker room. The restrooms need updating and better cleaning

Very nice facility, large and spread out. The only thing you may want to consider is more deck/lounge chairs around the pool, if possible!
Great outdoor pool.
I typically use just the weight room, which is adequate.
However, I've noted before that most of the men's locker room looks like it hasn't been updated since I grew up using the Y about 60 years ago, and it is badly in need of upgrading.
I had heard from the G/N YMCA Director in response to an email survey a couple years ago that the Y knew that needed to happen, but still no progress.
A Capital campaign might help.
