We have loved our experience at Mathnasium so far! I like that they work on the foundations of math to build up a child's confidence in their math skills, which is one of the reasons we chose it. Brandon and his team were amazing to work with and such a tremendous help to my junior in high school struggling with geometry and trig. Our 3 sons have been attending Mathnasium for 1 1/2 years now. Brandon's team coaches to their strengths and interests, while ensuring they have the numerical literacy skills to advance in math. Extrinsic rewards are offered through a points system for attendance and completing assignments. Our youngest just made a 110% on his math test and was asked to move into advanced math. He was thrilled!!
Compared to the individual tutoring option, our family went through 3 tutors who could only meet with our sons at limited times, only to have each tutor sequentially quit. In contrast - for comparable cost - our sons can attend Mathnasium multiple days a week, AND at various hours that fit our schedule. Also Brandon's team has both consistent teachers and new teachers. Hence students are able to learn from a variety of individuals, which will serve them well in high school and college.

Mathnasium has really helped my daughter build her confidence in math. She still struggles, but nothing like it has been before Mathnasium. My daughter enjoys going and is proud of the work she brings home. Mathnasium helps with her school work and it takes a load and stress relief off myself the parent and I can see the progress she has made in her school work and grades.

Huge confidence builder! My daughters took the Geometry Readiness program at Mathnasium this summer and it has allowed them to actively participate in their school Geometry class beginning on day 1 which has really boosted their confidence and enjoyment in Math. They looked forward to going to Mathnasium in the summer (hard to believe!) and even after being at school all day. They also really like the tutors. I can't speak for any other Mathnasiums but Brandon, the owner of Mathnasium in Hyde Park, takes a personal interest in each student and even makes sure that he has favorite rewards for each student (like a certain type of candy for of my daughters).
My kids LOVE going to mathnasium!!!!! I have one child who loves math. Mathnasium is his happy place. He loves going and nurturing his passion for learning about math in a way that I simply can’t do at home.
I have one child who struggles with math. He did not pass the math portion of the Walnut High School entrance exam the first time he took it. Brandon and his staff worked diligently with him and gave him the confidence and skills he needed to pass it the second time.
I highly recommend mathnasium for those advanced in math, for those struggling and for those in between.

Great program and staff! Brandon has assembled a great team and along with his entire team, they have a vested interest in the success of our children. This program helps to build confidence, bridge gains from school and sharpen and improve Math skills. Highly recommend this if you have a child or children struggling in Math and most of all who suggest they “hate” math. Math is part of every day life ... kids only hate if if they are struggling and don’t have the support at school to succeed!
