I love the pools and hot tub. There are so many classes to choose from and spaces to work out in. It’s fantastic.
However, I’m not a big fan of the brands of free weights/barbells and the parking situation is usually a pain for my truck, but that’s not the Y’s fault, it’s just a busy place.
I am a senior. There are lots of wonderful activities for us to maintain our health that are geared to our age and needs. And, we make new friends

Access to the pool is good. The men’s pool locker room is in desperate need of renovation. It has been for several years

Staff is friendly and efficient in helping the members with their needs. Senior services are good quality and help a lot of seniors in the community. There’s also a sense of well-being, friendly faces, wellness opportunities, and modern equipment to provide an atmosphere where physical and spiritual wellness is enhanced.

Funny story… I asked 2 different lifeguards how many laps for a mile. Neither one had a clue. One told me it was 25 yards and the other 25 meters. Then I noticed on the sign on the wall: 66 laps = 1 mile.
Suggestion for the lifeguards who get paid to sit still for hours and just look at ppl. Maybe they could read the signs 😂.
Good, clean, accomodating facilities. Good instructors. Love the pool area and hot tub. Very nice support employees.

Overall, it’s just a really great place. The employees, the environment, values; all around very pleased with Cleveland YMCA.
I like how family-centered most activities/programs are, as well as the fact that programs are available for everyone through scholarships. I also love the Y garden that funds the livestrong program. The sunflowers are my favorite!
