I took Ashle Me’s class at Nob Hill. I just moved to San Francisco and ideally I’m not a fan of yoga since I want a format that’s more challenging and active. I’ve heard from multiple locals to try Ashle’s class at 6 pm and I kid you not, she is incredible! Probably one of the hardest power vinyasa classes I’ve taken and her flow and poses made so much sense. I don’t think I’ve sweated so much in my life. It’s so hard to find good instructors that can incorporate good music/repetition of beats, synchronized sequencing, and build up to a tough sequence. This is my new Monday evening sessions!

Leila E. was such a great instructor. Made it a very challenging but productive experience which is why anyone does the hot core power sculpt in the first place. Will definitely be back again many times. She rocks!

I tried Lola’s class and it was truly incredible! Great voice projection and cues. In addition, I loved her sun B sequence flowing it twice, then moving into B+. Her intention was balanced which she mentioned is something we work up to and I truly believe in that statement. Lola is the best! Go LoLo!

The instructor Lauren M at the Friday 2.30 class is very motivational and inspirational.
I really enjoy last time class has I was able to sweat and use my energy doing yoga stretches exercises. Shanon class are very helpful for my health, since I was sick and hospitalized last month in October. For sure I was able to feel change on my body with her yoga exercises. It helps my body healing. Shanon she has amazing ways in teaching and she is able to perform and speak clearly words for us to do our exercises.
I would like to thank Shanon for teaching us. I am very grateful for her life.

So I’m not sure if this is the review for Ashle Me’s C2 on Monday at 6:00 pm pst or Alison U’s HPF & Sculpt on Tuesday at 10:30 am pst and 12 pm pst so here’s a review for both:
Truly incredible sequence and flow by Ashle. I burnt 755 calories and almost fainted with how difficult Mondays 6:00 pm pst Nob Hill C2 class was but it was all worth it! If you want a challenge with phenomenal music, incredibly tough/yet perfectly flowing sequencing, great voice projection/perfect cueing, and an instructor that fully demos and utilizes all four corners of the room, Ashle (aka: BEST) is your girl 💅🏻. Plus, 25 years of yoga experience, what more can you expect from the best.
Don’t even get me started with Alison U. This girl is gifted. I’m hoping one day she can teach HPF, Sculpt, and bring in a C2 all on Tuesday so it can be called the Alison U triple combo deluxe all day class session. It’s just perfect. You take 3 classes and you get half off on your fourth. This would be such a great sales strategy for those who are crazy and can do yoga all day. Regardless, I took Alison’s HPF and Sculpt and burnt 1,055 calories total yesterday. Finally losing all this disgusting jiggly fat I gained while overeating in Asia. 😪
Mallory taught a super fun but tough class. I got a great workout with a smile on my face (most of the time). When I lived in another city and tried corepower, I had instructors that wouldn’t let me drink water or discouraged from taking breaks, but Mallory encouraged us to push ourselves and listen to our body if we needed water or a quick break. She’s a great instructor and I’d recommend her class to anyone!

I love this studio at Nob Hill and Berkeley-West and all the teachers that I have had. Most recently, it was Laura and Ms. Walker at the Nob Hill location and Ethan (?) at Berkeley-West. I like the flow of their practice, the instruction they provide, and the positive energy they charge the class with.
Love the classes and instructors. I always feel great after my classes. My only critique is that the classes are always uncomfortably full with people - we’re always mat to mat. Sometimes not having enough space for weights or to have to stagger to do the movements. Corepower could be a bit mindful about spacing and making sure we’re comfortable for the hour session.
