Sherwood's Teachers (Mrs. Johnson, Ms. Graham and Ms. Margarita) keep my twins, Amir and Amelia engaged and ready to learn. The lessons are explained with consideration, care and include so much creativity. From the projects, assignments and the layout of each printout, all is capturing, quite informative and illuminates their minds. The opportunity and games with outdoor or indoor play keeps them fit then set to learn some more. With them being so personable with my children, I need this experience all year long for them. 100 stars from Jupiter to Earth then Mars!! Applause for a job done above and beyond.

Sherman location was well organized and beautiful property. The teachers were lively and pleasant. It would be great to upgrade Belair early childhood center the same way. The teacher's in the Belair location are the best and they do such an excellent job in a building that needs lots of improvements.
The Y Headstart program was a true blessing to my family. Every single staff member I encountered showed my family the upmost respect. Very loving and welcoming. I’m thankful my children had a chance to be apart of the headstart and summer program for 2 years in a row. Thanks for all you did!!

My son attended the Y Sherman Early Childhood Center for two years, and during that time he grew so much both academically and personally. His teacher, Mrs. Davis, played a big role in that. Each week she sent home homework, and whenever my son needed extra help, she made sure he got it. She even provided additional study guides tailored to his needs, which made a big difference. The entire staff at the center has always been exceptionally kind and supportive. We’re grateful for everything they’ve done.
The teachers and administrators gave personalized attention to our daughter and family. The Sherman Early Childhood Center was a great learning environment for our daughter. She developed confidence and skills that will help her excel in kindergarten and beyond!

Learning experiences
The learning environment helped my daughter thrive. Her vocabulary has improved. Her social skills have improved, and she is now starting to write her first name. The teachers at the Y are very caring and attentive. This was the best decision my husband and I made to enroll our daughter in this program!
