I registered my son in Mathnasium not because he struggles with Math, but on the contrary; he happens to be very good at Math and I wanted to make sure he continues to have that edge at school. Unlike other Math programs that I have tried, I find that Mathnasium takes the stress and boredom out of Math. My son actually enjoy attending class there. Having game time during the Summer months was an added bonus. For me it was not having to argue to get him to attend. And the result of him attending is obvious in his grades at school. Definitely recommend Mathnasium.

My children enjoyed their time in Mathnasium. Learning is fun experience and they fee comfortable working with the tutors who they always look forward to meeting after school. The rewards are also motivating, receiving prizes and solving a challenging problem all contributed to increasing their motivation.
Most of the teachers have been very patient with our children. My son needs the extra help and attention in math, and most of the instructors are able to redirect him to help him learn more math!

My kids really like the teachers and the motivation system. They enjoy going and are improving their math skills. I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I definitely do a cost/benefit analysis after each session.
My son loves to come to class. He likes the instructors, has confidence working on math work and enjoy the game time. He has made steady progress. Definitely recommend the program

My daughter, Ava, loves Mathnasium at Closter. Teachers are all very nice and fun. Flexible schedule and their long open hours are huge help for busy working mom like me. The location is huge plus also. I can finish groceries while I’m waiting for her to be done since it’s right next to Wholefood and Target.
Best of all, Ava loves math since she started Mathnasium! I’m very thankful :)

I usually do not write reviews, but I am so appreciative of the help and difference I have seen on my daughter in just a few months. My daughter has been challenged with math for as long as i can remember. She had a private tutor twice a week for about three years. When Mathnasium opened its doors in Closter I decided to make a change and have my daughter registered. It made a difference almost immediately. The team is knowledgeable and supportive, the owner Mike is really nice, but what i think made the difference is that she realized that math could be understood and that she wasnt the only one having a hard time with it. She also noticed other children that just came in for the practice of it and that they had a passion for numbers. I love dropping her off and having a few minutes of me time too...it works out great!
Everyone at the center is very friendly and kind. They are flexible and work with our daughter to help give her confidence about math.
My son is so much stronger and more confident in math than ever. He is now a solid A-B math student, mostly As whereas before his grades were all over the map. The ability to attend 3-4 sessions per week on a monthly rate is what really makes the model work. The repetition of reinforcing concepts, and managing current workflow in school is ideal. Special thanks to Eric and Rizwan. Mike is the perfect Manager. The staff remembers all of the kid's names, and welcomes them like they've known the kids for years. It is a warm, inviting place that is great even for the shy kids.
