As an engineer I always thought if our kids needed math help we would be able to help them ourselves, boy were we wrong! My husband found Mathnasium and we have not looked back. Ziada is the BEST! We had a busy schedule and were always trying to ensure we could get in tutoring. She was patient and kind. My son wasn't interested in tutoring, but he needed it. The tutors always met him where he was at and helped him progress (putting aside his emotion). I am grateful for the year we spent at Mathnasium!

We are a long time Mathnasium family. We noticed that public school education can sometimes leave inevitable holes in math knowledge because teachers are pressured to teach too much too fast and move to the next concept. We use Mathnasium to revisit, practice, and reinforce math concepts so they stick in long term memory. The Mathnasium method fits with the science of learning so it's an effective approach if used consistently. My kids are strong in math now. We see the result of Mathnasium's work in other courses like chemistry and physics and also their high SAT and ACT scores. Mathnasium has given them a solid foundation in math.

We've been very pleased with Mathnasium. I do wish there was some greater flexibility with session times and really miss having Saturday as an option for tutoring. The scheduling tool is clunky and very difficult to schedule a hybrid of in-person and online sessions (it's not easy to navigate from one to the other). It's annoying to have to type in the password to get to the parent/student page. I wish we just had accounts that we logged into and could manage and access everything from there.

Mathnasium follows the science of learning and they have been a life saver for our family. My kids attend regularly and they follow their curriculum. Mathnasium has been incredible at repairing any holes in learning from school and also repeating and practicing concepts that students will need again. My kids feel capable in math, and when there is a substitute or mishap in school, my kids have the tools to do the work and not miss a step. My oldest is now a junior and she has top scores on her SAT and ACT because she actually knows the math. My teens can do their chemistry work with ease because they understand the math so well. We attribute that math competence to Mathnasium. Their teachers are good at explaining the math. Mathnasium has solid in-house materials, a reliable method that follows the science of how the mind learns, and also kind and skilled instructors. Before covid, they were great, and now with challenges across education after covid, Mathnasium keeps my kids grounded in their math knowledge.
