Mathnasium is everything you want math to be for your child- it’s fun and feels easy because your child is learning skills at the right level. The strategies taught are real world and transfer to the next concept learned.

Mathnasium of Newmarket has exceeded our expectations in terms of the help that they have provided to our daughter with her Grade 12 math tutoring. Giovanni (her tutor) was able to help my daughter regain her confidence with her math skills and for the first time since entering high school, we have seen first hand her confidence in tackling her math homework. She no longer avoids doing the homework because of a lack of confidence in her skills and this has also helped to boost her overall confidence in herself. Mariaelisa assured us from the beginning that they would go back to assess ALL areas in math where my daughter would need help (not just her current course material) in order to build her confidence back up and ensure success with her current course material.

My only regret is that we did not find Mathnasium sooner, as if she had received this level of help starting in grade 9, I'm sure it would have made a huge difference not only in her marks, but also in her confidence to tackle any math subject. Now she knows that if she needs any help with math courses in university, she has an organization that she can rely on in order to help her succeed.

We have found the instructors at Mathnasium Newmarket to be patient, kind, knowledgeable and overall great to work with. My son's math marks have increased significantly, and more importantly, he doesn't hate math. "I get it!" is music to our ears. Thanks!

Mariaelisa has been great in addressing all of our questions and works really hard to reach out to all students and their parents. She is open to feedback and suggestions and is always a pleasure to talk to and work with.

I do see an email for feedback that I received few days ago but never filled out the survey. It was brought to my attention that I rated Mathnasium as a 0 which I am not sure how that happened. I do have a 13 month old who plays on my phone while I change his diaper, so not sure if he might have clicked something? He has changed settings on my phone and sadly disabled it for an hour at a time.

No complaints with Mathnasium here, infact Mariaelisa is very accommodating and always a pleasure to talk to.

The instructors are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My son's marks have improved dramatically since going to Mathnasium. It has certainly lowered the stress level that math used to have on him.

What I love about Mathnasium is that you strive to not only help kids with math, but to build back their confidence so they are not afraid to attempt to tackle new work. Also, I’m very happy that the instructors provide ongoing feedback as to how my child is doing, and what she can do to improve.
