I love 99% of the aspects of the YMCA. It was wonderful programs, extremely flexible hours, and clean facilities. The only issue I have is the membership price. For a single person, it now costs $55 a month to be a member. That's pretty steep for a one income household. If there was a pay as you go plan, it may work depending on the finances. I would be willing to pay $10 every time I walk in the door. It would still be cheaper than a monthly membership. That's the only issue I have with the Y. I always have excellent experiences with the staff. They are always courteous and professional. But sometimes that price is a bit much.
Flexible schedules for classes and great instructors. Lots of choices.
I wish I had time to participate in the programs, but I barely find time to work out as is it.
Great instructors...especially Corine and Robin. Also enjoy the water aerobics.
On the plus side: Convenient hours of operation. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice selection of strength and cardiovascular equipment. Nice spacious exercise area.
However I'd like to see a few more Matrix elliptical trainers, because they are becoming more popular. And I'd like to see a couple of good rowing machines like the newer one. The old one is virtually useless as far as I'm concerned.

Both My wife and I really enjoy all your Yoga class sessions. Each of the instructors have
a different repertoire of motions and poses which prevents boredom forming with a staid
routine.

Swimming pool for laps
I enjoy the offered water aerobics classes and the times they are offered. I enjoy all the insturctors.
Most of the staff and the number of classes...activities, etc.

I love that you have 2 pools. I have arthritis and need the warmer water of the family pool. The variety of water programs is great. I especially like the hydro pilates classes.
The staff is very helpful in helping you out, to understand what is right for your health and STRENGTHENING your body

There is a nice selection of water based classes and the instructors are great!
The instructors are good and each has a different approach to the same exercises/activity which keeps a class interesting and fun!
i do wish that you had a Tai Chi Class and also honored the Silver Sneakers Insurance Program participants. That is the one thing, not being able to use my insurance, which may necessitate a change in my membership.
I have met alot of very nice people that have become friends that CARE!
I love the child care, and the way the gym is run.
Moving from Lexington, Va this facility is world of difference ... there's actually something for everyone in the family to do ...

Clean facility, friendly staff, beautiful views, and I love the Christian music in the locker rooms. I’m a swimmer, so I have to give the pool a plug! Nice bright, sunny pool rooms with views of the surrounding mountains.
There is always something for my family to do and keep us occupied.
There's such a variety to choose from...the instructors are great...happy atmosphere...plenty of activities for the kids...weight room is awesome
