I love the Y after-school program and the Y camp, If it weren't for these two programs my two young ones wouldn't have had an enjoyable summer or breaks from school. The Y program does so many different things with the kids. The staff are friendly and very caring. I've only had one issue and it was addressed almost instantly. My two never cried or asked not to go to daycare. They love doing all the activities and meeting new friends. There favorite might be swimming. They love it!
My child loves after care at Virginia Heights. Ms. Caroline is absolutely wonderful!

My kids have so much fun. They do lots of positive activities that keep the kids busy. Staff were all very friendly.
I enjoy knowing that when school is closed or dismissed early that the YMCA afterschool program will be operation! This helps me to ensure that I will have guaranteed childcare for both of my children while work. I am so glad to be a part of this organization as a site director. I am proud to say that my son has attended this program for five years now and my daughter has attended for two years. We look forward to many more fun/ successful years to come with this program!

We love our dance class! It's so inviting and fun for my 3 year old. She's looks forward to it every week! Ms. Nicole is the best teacher! She is so patient and kind with the kids! Give that lady a raise! 🤣♥️

Great place.
I'm diabetic and need to exercise. It's nice to walk inside during cold weather. You allow my family from Northern Virginia to come when they are in town to swim and play racquetball. The facility is always clean.

The staff does a great job of providing a variety of physically and mentally enriching activities. My child proudly shows off crafts she made at the Y and is often reluctant to leave. The school-based location makes transportation more convenient, and the program is set up to be genuinely accommodating to working parents -- something that's hard to find!
