What do you like about our programs and activities?

The YMCA offers a wide range of programs and activities, in a safe and friendly environment.
There is something for everyone, including community outreach programs which give
members the opportunity to lend a hand to others in the local area. The Northeast Cobb Family YMCA's front desk staff and volunteers are always welcoming. Knowing the staff is trained to handle emergency situations is reassuring.

Thanks for being such a vital part of Cobb County!

Staff is always helpful, available and accommodating. We typically do not participate in programs or activities at this time but use the racquet ball court occasionally.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Family focused.
What I don’t like is that I don’t see a lot of consideration or leadership around making adjustments for the climate crisis we all face. Small changes add up. Energy efficiency matters. Have you considered solar on the roof? Or a green roof? That would be a cool program. Ditch the disposable plastic; that is not a good thing no matter the “convenience.” Emphasize the value of recycling. The YMCA could push forward a message of caring for God’s earth that wakes up many to their own power to DO MORE and DO BETTER.

Love the kids summer camps especially High Harbour and Circus Camp. We have also enjoyed the kids’ volleyball classes.

It is the people - particularly LeeAnn Wilson and Darcy Schwarz. LeeAnn adds so much with senior and volunteer programming. Darcy is a great instructor and adds challenging classes which I love.

The Northeast Cobb YMCA has great cardio and weight machines for use. The classes are excellent with awesome instructors. The place and people are pleasant. The facility is always clean and neat. We are fortunate to have this YMCA in our neighborhood.

The Y Is very close to my house and the parking is so easy. I usually go at lunchtime so I normally don’t have to wait on any machines.

Wonderful teachers and facility. Yoga with Pam. Strength with Gulie.
Love morning coffee and newspapers at tables where we can socialize. Really like that!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

It is closer to home than McCluskey but does not have as many senior activities. Also parents do not control their older children on the machines; use the bikes and treadmills for baby-sitters when school is out of session. One rarely sees such disruption at McCluskey but it is not monitored at East Cobb.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I enjoy being close to the Y. It serves my needs of getting the exerize I need. I use the treadmill for walking and the cycles for strength building in my legs and arms.
