I wish you didn't cancel the Y total body class on Friday at 11:15 with Laura R. She is a good instructor, and it was nice to attend a class that wasn't so full.
I have been coming to the "Y" for 26 years, and it remains to me a great positive focal point for the community. I have always appreciated the great facilities, where you can work out overlooking the forest, and there is "Bo Show" involved when yiu work out. My kids grew up here, and as a "Senior", I now really appreciate the diversity and scope of programs and aids available to me, Great STAFF!! Great hours,, Glad yiu guys are here so close to m our hine!!
Sauna swim
The facility is clean, warm and welcoming, with different themes and holidays displayed. The people are kind, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The activities are all extremely organized and enjoyable ( and there are so many activities ). The inside walking track is A BLESSING and the swimming instructors ARE THE BEST!
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The “Y” in West Cobb, Kennesaw to any and all!
Great variety
Very comfortable environment to exercise in. Very family friendly. I do not feel like I'm being watched or that my fitness level is being judged at all. Plus, the people who work here are very nice, friendly, and encouraging.

I go for the indoor pool. Not interested in any classes. I love the place, I only have one concern. Upset that the swim teams have priority in the pool. I am not referring to classes that happen in the fist 2 lanes. I am specifically addressing the lap swim lanes 4 and 5. Lots of times there is only one lane (3) open for members. I believe members should be treated in the same way and have the same ability to use the lanes as the teams. Would still recommend the gym, the only indoor pool located in my area (convenience). Well maintained.
There are lots of different options available and to look and register on the app is very easy
The whole aspect of community outreach and providing programs that assist all ages as a senior now it’s very helpful to me to have programs available to participate in and socialize. Thank you.
I love the availability of classes after 5pm during the week. Classes are well run and there is lots to chose from.
I live in Woodstock but have family in Ackworth so go to this ymca location often too. I have met the kindest people who go out of their way to help me with equipment etc. The YMCA has everything you need to get in shape and a peaceful welcoming environment which is a bonus.
We like all the options!
