I enjoy going to the Summit YMCA because of the friendly welcoming atmosphere. From the front door to passing any staff throughout the building you are greeted with a welcoming smile. I am also impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The Summit Y is a safe, family friendly environment!!!!!
Several programs to keep a good variety for everyone
The amount of options and the staff is always so pleasant. Especially Carl and DJ at the front desk at Summit in Newnan. Please recognize them, they are so good to my 3 year old. Thanks!
My favorite thing about the Y is the variety of programs offered and the knowledgeable staff to support those programs and activities. I love the Y’s mission to give back to the community by making programs available to children who may not otherwise get to have those experiences.
I like their variety and availability for any programs even if they get you on waiting list , most certainly will call you soon to get you in . Teachers are well trained and if you communicate with them your goals or concerns they will work with you.
I love how clean the YMCA is and that they have activities for so many different people at various stages of life. Thanks for doing a great job for our community!
The activities and programs that our family have participated in have been well planned, organized, and supervised. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and so positive. I especially like that the YMCA is family and Christian based/oriented. keep up the great work that all of you do!

Easy to sign up at a good price.
The programs are difficult to attend because of the times available. There should be more spin classes in the mornings (7:30 - 9:30). Other classes that are appropriate for senior citizens should be scheduled during this time also.

We have only did One session of swim lesson and they are going pretty well so far. Will be signing up for another one and thinking about signing up for Summer camp.
Swimming and kids activities
My favorite activity is the pool. There is seldom an excuse to not swim as there are always lanes available, since the Summit pool is one of the largest. Also the pool is a heated indoor pool; I can swim during a snow storm, on a hot humid day, or even when the pollen count is high. And the pool schedule provides plenty of hours in a week to swim.
There are a variety of different types of classes to keep me motivated and encouraged through exercise and fun activities. Zumba is invigorating and Yoga is great for toning and relaxation.
In addition the wellness coaches are such a big help in keeping me focused on overall healthy living. My coach helped me develop a realistic plan that fits my lifestyle.
There are also volunteer opportunities for those who like to be involved and give back to the YMCA family.
The YMCA has become my home away from home. There is always one in my travels out of town, which helps to keep me living a healthy life. In addition, the YMCA is a family oriented organization, which brings a sense of belonging and commitment. The YMCA has become a part of my healthy journey in life.
I just go there to work out on the machines. 😀
Family friendly atmosphere. Program variety appeals to all ages and health fitness goals. Instructors are consistent.
I love everything about the Y! Everyone is so friendly. I feel super comfortable in the classes and wellness center. The play center staff know my kids names. And I LOVE the extra family programs like PNO, daddy daughter dance and winter wonderland.

I love that your employees learn our names. We were at another gym in Newnan for over 13 years. Only one or two employees greeted us by our first names. We’ve been at the Summit YMCA in Newnan for four months and several employees greet us with a smiles and remember our names. We love the Y!
