-Parent’s Night Out is the best! Such a wonderful 4hour date night, where I know our son will be safe and have fun while we are away.
-We had a blast in the parent-assisted tumbling class.
-Erin Hight has made registering for swimming lessons, for our 5 year old, an easy process, and has staffed them with instructors I can trust. Beyond grateful!
I think what I love most about my YMCA is the diversity of its members. The Y is a welcoming and comfortable place where anyone can join a class or work out in the weight room and not feel out of place or intimidated. I love that about the Y!

Secure cleaning and maintenance of all areas
Family and handicap showers
Really great staff always willing to help with the checking in
and getting a lane.
The therapy pool is the only one I know of . . .
Sad that the medical system falls behind the YMCA in
providing the absolute best pain free therapy in the heated pool
with the jets and railings and a chair lift AND LIFE GUARDS
ABLE TO HELP WITH TRANSFERRING
DREAM OF THE YMCA BRING THE FOCUS ON THE ORIGINAL MEANING
OF "YMCA" YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS IS THE ABSENCE OF FATHERS
WHO NEED LIFE COACHING SKILLS TO PRACTICE MAKING YOUNG MEN
VALUE THEIR LIFE AND GUARDING THEIR THOUGHTS THAT CAUSE THEIR
CHOICE OF WORDS THAT CAUSE THEIR ACTIONS. SERIOUS NEED TO
UNDERSTAND THEIR ACTIONS THAT CAUSE THEIR HABITS THAT NEED
STUDYING TO BUILD WISE DISCERNING CHARACTER. YMCA NEEDS TO
HAVE THE MAIN CAMPAIGN TO BE OPEN 24/7 WITH DEDICATED FATHERING
FEEDING HEALTHY, CLOTHING,MENTORING, ENCOURAGING, INSTRUCTING
YMCA NEEDS TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THE GANGS THAT ARE FOCUSED AND
SUCCESSFUL IN DESTROYING YOUNG MEN .
TURN OFF THE BAD ATTITUDE TECHNOLOGY. BOYS NEED LISTENING TO MORE
THAN THEY NEED "PUT DOWN TALKING TO"
THE YMCA HAS THE BEST FACILITY FOR HEALING THE REJECTION,
THE NOBODY HOME ISOLATION THAT PUTS THEM INTO GANGS.
THE HISTORY OF THE SALVATION ARMY COULD BE A RESOURCE OF
HOW TO FOCUS ON THE MOTIVATION TO GIVE THE GREATEST GOOD
TO YOUNG MEN BY BUILDING QUALITY CHARACTER WITH AN ARMY OF
FATHERS WILLING TO DO THE BIGGEST JOB BUILDING VIRTUE. iT IS
WHO A MAN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT HE DOES.
THE JAPANESE FATHERS BRING THEIR YOUNG SONS INTO THE YMCA
AND IMMEDIATELY THERE IS RESPECT AND HONOR WITH ALL
THEIR RELATIONSHIPS.
THE CAMPERS AT THE YMCA CAMPS ARE WILD WHEN THEY COME INTO
THE POOL SCREAMING JUMPING -- THEY COULD NOT BE CONTROLED.
WOMEN ARE DOING MEN'S JOBS AS FATHERS BECAUSE THE MEN ARE
NOT DOING THEIR JOBS AS FATHERS SO WOMEN ARE DOING THE MOTHERING
AND THE FATHERING. THE HOME, THE SCHOOLS, THE CHURCHES ARE LOCKED
DOWN TO PROTECT THE PROPERTY AND KEEP THE NEEDY OUT!
ROOSEVELT WARM SPRINGS HAS A CAMPUS WITH FABULOUS FACILITIES.
WOW WHAT A DREAM THAT THE YMCA WOULD CREATE THE TOTAL DREAM OF FDR
FOR ALL YMCA'S . EVEN IN THE DETERIORATED CIRCUMSTANCES, MORE
GOOD IS DONE FOR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN THERE . RESPECT FOR
SELF AND OTHERS!
I love being able to schedule and reserve a lane for swimming. I enjoy evening classes, since I am unable to participate earlier in the day.
We like the fact that there are activiities for all ages and abilities.
Wonderful classes and instructors while maintaining safety during Covid and lots of opportunities to volunteer and serve our fabulous community. The YMCA is a sweet community like none other!
Love the water aerobics and stretch classes!
Swim lessons
I joined approximately one month ago, then went on two weeks vacation, and am busily trying out various classes. So far, so good!
My goal in joining was to swim, and participate in yoga and pilates groups. Through the pandemic I have been doing yoga individually. It is nice to be part of a group.
The Summit facility is very nice, and the staff are kind and helpful.
I am 62, for me, it's simple. Everyone is friendly. The place is clean and organized. I come in during quieter hours, work out, walk the track (really enjoy the indoor track over the gym), and I"m out.
As for the facility and what It offers. Down the road, II'll dig into the Tai Chi programs offered. Pickle ball looks fun. And love the option of being able to start of swimming if/when I'm ready to add that.
Other:
The family environment. It is great to see so many families invested in the health of their kids and themselves. There is a happiness and a energy to this that adds value to anyone who walks in the door. You kind of draw on that energy.
The scope of people. It is a diversified place, where everyone is treated with respect and kindness. Not only by the staff, but with each other. In a world of social media ugliness, it is good to plug into a place that negates what is spouted by a very loud minority. It's a subtle reminder to focus on body and spirit and to stay positive in life. The Y is living proof of that, not only for me, but so many others that spend quality time there.
Community Center. Nothing political about this. (I don't care what your politics are). The Y services the community. A true effort to service the needs of the area, including woman and men that are active or former military and their families. These programs are well thought out and executed in a supporting and enthusiastic manner.
Not just a place to work out; but a place with multiple ways to plug into your local community, if you choose to do so.
My family just joined the YMCA at Summit. We are very excited about all the activities they have to offer. I'm sure the entire family will enjoy different aspects of the YMCA.
Water aerobics. Gentle yoga and machines plus track. I have been a member for over 5 years — my doctor recommended it to me after foot surgery. I just had hip replacement April 29. So glad to be back.
We love the Summit YMCA! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoy the basketball courts and cardio equipment. Everything is nice and clean. It is a definitely a family friendly atmosphere.
Clean, well managed facility. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
