As a Mom, I am so glad that childcare is offered as part of our membership. I know that my children are being well cared for in a safe environment while I am there.
I love taking the classes at my Y. There are so many options that are fun and challenging, but not intimidating. The instructors are all so encouraging and help keep motivated while teaching me about a healthy lifestyle.
I like the personal trainer, the facilities are super clean, and the people that work there are super nice.
I wish there were more regular daytime yoga, not HOT yoga classes.

Good selection of classes and great equipment
I love all of the classes I take at the Y, like bootcamp and Cardio Interval and the instructors who teach them! I also love that I can get small group training for such a reasonable price!
The Coach approach is great for me. I am a stroke survivor and Ryoko helps me on and off the equipment safety and gives me goals to meet meet. The classes are also available and helpful. All the people I have met are great employees and members.
Opportunities for all ages & abilities
Now that my children are teenagers, we use the Y almost exclusively as a fitness center. I like the monthly challenges, such as May triathlon or the marathon, etc.

We like the relaxed atmosphere, non-threatening environment. There are many different types of classes to choose from for all ages. There are also many different ways to volunteer and support the community. The employees are always friendly.

Variety of classes and great encouraging instructors
I like the water aerobics and the support to Senior Citizens including the area in which Seniors can play cards. The fact that their are individuals in the weight room who are willing to help you whenever necessary.
I also like the camp offerings for kids. It is wonderful to be able to see the children's excitement when going off to camp for the day.
The people at the Y are wonderful and very helpful.

Your programs are fun and affordable and all the staff is incredible. The warmth from people in this place is tangible.

Variety
Your childcare employees are great, which makes it a pleasant experience for me to take my kids there, which makes it easy for me to come. I also really enjoy workout classes (WERQ with Erin and Zumba with Gina), the front desk ladies are always very nice, and it's a very positive workout experience for me! Thank you!

I think the Forsyth County YMCA is clean, friendly and has a great variety of fitness options. I also like the idea that I am supporting an organization that puts something back into the community and not just a business selling exercise time.
We have only done swim lessons so far, but we love our teacher! She is awesome.
