Numerous Water aerobics
So happy to have found the Parkinson’s Movement classes at the Y! These classes are making a healthy impact for my husband as he battles this awful disease! And, I have enjoyed the classes as well! The classes led by Angie and Elizabeth are wonderful and they are both inspiring, motivating and cognizant of the challenges that us older folks face. I feel that with regular attendance my husband will gain strength both physically and mentally.
I only use the pool . The pool area is nice, water is chemically and temperature maintained very well. The locker room is the nicest of the Ys I’ve used in the Atlanta metro Ys where I’ve swum several times.
In general about the YMCA…. While I do not use the classes, but I like the exercise classes that are available and the opportunities for more than swimming. Forsyth YMCA is relatively convenient for me and it is a great place to get my laps in. I swim about 3 miles a week, 52 weeks a year.

I like active classes w great participants that become friends. Instructors are great. Facilities nice and always clean. Helpful front desk. Great environment to keep my body young as it ages! 68 years young ❤️.
I like that they are inclusive. Courtney does an amazing job during her classs of showing everyone multiple ways to complete exercises based on physical need. I am also very appreciative that our whole family can come. Our kids love the play center.

They are always clean
I like the workout area and the free weights, and I really enjoy the pool. I did have another experience this morning, 2/1,, when I saw swimming from 8:30-9:30. The water aerobics group entered the pool and I could smell, feel, and taste lotions and perfumes. I still do not see any signs anywhere that encourage members to shower before entering the pool. This is unsanitary, unhygienic, and inconsiderate.
