Out guest pass was utilized often and we enjoyed the atmosphere, helpful personnel and available activities.
However, our official membership date of March 16, 2020 is the very same date that received notice that you were closed due to COVID-19. Indeed Understandable. Looking forward to all being well for everyone and your families and our beginning our new senior citizen/ family membership with an extended expiration date.

The diversity of the different age related classes for older / senior adults are the best ever! The professional & knowledgeable intake workers , trainers and health advocates are supportive and truly have a heart for your health. There’s something for everyone at the YMCA!

You have great classes for seniors.
There are countless opportunites to workout, learn, serve and inspire others. The staff is amazing in many ways. I love the Christian environment and not having to hear all the negative and/or vulgar things that are heard in many other facilities.
There are activities for people of all ages.
There is a program for every age group. All are supervised and designed to be fun and safe.

It is great, but I am very pertubed that they removed one of the best classes off the schedule, Intervals class that was held on Thursday at 6 pm. The instructor fits my style of need when it comes to a class. Its a shame!
This 'Y' location offers a wide range of programs and activities for all ages, activity/fitness, committment levels. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, available to make interactions seamless. The 'Leads' were proactive regarding this year's flu 'season/alerts' with timely emails to apprise of updates to the 'Y's 'hygeine' policies. The facility is clean and the equipment is in good repair/functional. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience!
Lin's yoga is fantastic.
i enjoy the staff who work in the weight/treadmill areas, especially jeff. he is my favorite, very personable and funny. i enjoy the others too they are very nice but jeff is the best.

I like that there are many options for exercise and programs to keep me accountable at Fowler. The staff is very helpful and courteous!
Everything about my experience at the Y has been great. I do not swim but I do notice many of the lifeguards need retraining. I've seen guards leave the pool deck, stay seated continuously, hang up posters, talk among 4 of them while no eyes were on the pool. I've noticed this both in the morning and during swim classes. I think it has not been properly communicated that when an instructor is instructing they cannot effectively also guard. Anyway, all my experiences using equipment and functional training space, the guard situation has just been a thing I've constantly noticed while passing by.

The big physical fitness room contained everything that I needed. The front desk staff were warm and inviting. The other patrons were very nice.
The coaches for the coach approach are very helpful, encouraging & motivating. I've been here for almost a month & love the atmosphere as well. My kids even love the playcenter & I love my kids can be together (2 & 4)
Friendly fun atmosphere to try new classes. Would highly recommend the Fowler YMCA to anyone who would like to get or stay in shape.

I enjoy the group exercise and the programs, which provide a strong sense of community.

I'm so grateful that the Y has made adjustments to keep us safe, yet OPEN during the pandemic. I'm happy to jump through any hoops necessary to keep myself and my neighbors healthy. While I don't want to catch covid, I also need exercise to keep myself healthy and safe. Thanks for all you do to keep us there.
