Covington Y staff goes above and beyond to meet individual needs of members. They are welcoming, ready to offer encouragement or to instruct on use of equipment. Wish the whole world could be like the Y!
Friendly, fun, well instructed classes.
Facility is very nice. It doesn't have super modern weight machines or extras like saunas or steam rooms but it has what I need. Although I don't use the spinning, pool, or tennis courts they seem very well kept up and safely made available. I also like that they support the children in our community through camps and sports. The staff are friendly and supportive and it is a pleasure to see them when I come in. My wife loves the classes and she has made good friends in them. The folks there want to help you be more healthy and seem especially considerate to us older folks. They are also concerned about safety and have made an effort to encourage sterilization of machines and keep the place neat and clean.
Last year we had a tragic family death and the Y was kind enough to send food to Tennessee that helped us a great deal. It was amazing that they thought of us. You really feel like they are a part of your family.
I would like to see more programs for seniors , and specially programs for seriously overweight individuals.
The staff is all incredible and makes everyone feel welcome.
Just joined, but i like the sense of community, the helpfulness of the YMCA representatives at the front desk and all the amenities and classes the Y has to offer.

Covington FAMILY YMCA is just that, it is a FAMILY! The front office staff always make you feel welcome when you enter. The trainers are awesome and keep me active and fit. I have attended other gyms in the past but they don't even begin to compare with the Y.

I like the atmosphere of the facility. I like the proximity to the trail. I love the Peleton bikes. Overall it is a great place.

The employees are friendly, informative, and loves working out. I love the workout classes, they are hard, and I love that. I am finally losing weight. I am happy that I joined the Y! The classes are always full. In addition, the classes are diverse and work different muscle groups. In 6 months, I have not had the same workout in a class. The instructors change the workout routine every time. Furthermore, they have newer equipments. And there are two classes that are taught on the equipment floor, which is great. I learned how to use most of the equipment and correctly by taking those classes. I love that as well.

We've been members of the Covington Y since approximately 19996. We have enjoyed the many programs, classes, and friendships we have made there. For us, it's almost an extension of our home.
