older client program
Variety of offerings, times, friendly staff, all affordable
One request: it’s taking far too long to fix/replace the bathing suit wringer in the women’s locker room.
I don’t take advantage of many of your offerings; just a quick in and out to work with the weight machines and use the treadmill. It has drastically improved my hip arthritis and everyone is friendly, while allowing you to workout peacefully.
Friendly environment, good classes, variety of activities and exercise options
What I like about the programs are the Active Older Organization, where seniors, such as I (71 yrs.young) have outings (Senior Mayor's Ball, YMCA Breakfast, Backyard at Mercedes Benz), where transportation is provided...I also the budget that the AOA receives which seniors the opportunity to fund trips that are suggested by seniors...events that we want to have, and other special events....
However, there is a need for "additional" senior classes that is geared toward our age and physical capacity.....the Y does offer "strength" traing for older adults as well as chair yoga...but some seniors seem to be offended when participating in regular Y classes with younger adults by their "uncomfortable" looks..their"insulting" demeanor....and "superior" attitude....Seniors feel unwanted and ultimately do not participate in those classes, which gives us a "limited" selections of activities to enjoy and gain from...
ALSO, I have been using the "steam room" lately and noticing the timer is inaccurate to allow the steam to come on.....I mentioned it to a "lifeguard" and it was explained that users "piur" water on the timer so it can come on at their leisure....it causes a "miscalculation " of the mechanism...I sat in there for 40 minutes when no steam....which caused a "great concetn"...therefore, once I brought it the lifeguard's attention, I understand why...this causes a lack of respect for others....
However, I thoroughly the downstairs weight machines...jogging around the track...yoga classes..and line dance classes..I.I LOVE the "balance, water flexibily" class...and looking forward to participating in the new "water aerobics" class...Continue to keep up the great work!

Cleanliness and variety
I really love Sarah L. and Megan H.’s yoga classes. I always leave feeling refreshed and am sad when I’m not able to make it. I wish there were more classes with them that I could work into my schedule.
They are good to help people stay healthy and strong.
I'm a swimmer and enjoy the pool
I really love that there are so many different spaces to work out in. Also, staff are always nice and I have absolutely loved working with Steve Herron for coach approach - its really made a difference for me and I've been working out a lot more! Thank you Steve!
The workout equipment
Friendly and supportive. Clean and safe environment. The pool and spa are almost always in working condition. So many activities for all ages.
The classes and friendly staff members always very helpful and supportive.
I love this YMCA it's so homey, it feels like your family there
The Community and collegiat feeling of daily walking with my neighbirs at the Y is amazing! It also gives me access to convenient exercise all over the city and in other parts of the country!
There is a great variety of activities from which to choose.
it’s very chill- not a high strung environment like other gyms
Love the classes and community!
I am benefiting from the coach approach and learning how to get back into exercise. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
More high intensity classes in the 6am time slot
Also - the HIIT room needs a rower and a bike instead of two bikes
Barbell upstairs will be nice in that room too
Classes, pool, location, hours open, community involvement
Your facilities, especially your aquatic center are always operational
I enjoy the Yoga classes. The classes are not as intense as a class in a Yoga studio, but the classes serves my needs. All of the instructors are great. I enjoy swimming and all the staff at the front are nice.
I do have one complaint. The lockers in the men’s locker room should be cleaned. Locker #126 has had clothes in it for the last three weeks. And one lady was very rude while dragging a mannequin thru the pool. My swim was interrupted by her. I was asking her a question, and she just screamed you need to get out of this lane.
I like how it serves the community and provides a variety of activities.
I appreciate the Active Older Adult program and would like to see music and art offerings
Fits my needs and I could depend on things working well
I like the class instructors for line dance and active adult strength and cardio classes. Linda and Cindy are very knowledgeable and make their classes a lot of fun.

I would like to see more high level yoga. And over 30s basketball
