Steam room has not been working 2 weeks in a row. Also, whirlpool was down this week. This was very disappointing!
I like that the Y is open all year round for activities and workouts. I especially like that the pool is a year round pool giving those of us who enjoy water activities a chance to use the pool throughout the winter.
I am only disappointed about still have to reserve a swim lane. When I talk about reserving a swim lane with others they show disappointment and state that they do not want to deal with "all that stuff".
I still recommend the Y to those I talk to but look forward to returning to less restrictions.

Their lifeguard is very professional.
I suppose it will never happened that the pool is closed because lifeguard is not showed up...

Alpharetta YMCA seems to be well run - clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable fees.
Wide variety so there’s something for everyone!
Outdoor pool, indoor pool (wish more lap lanes were available), cardio equipment (wish Netflix was available on ellipticals).
My kids LOVED LOVED LOVED summer camp and have already asked me to sign up for next year! Outside every day, exhausted and tired but loving what they did, swimming every day, great counselors and activities.

wonderful classes for special needs youth
Instructors that have the knowledge and experience teaching condition, strength, balance, core, stretch classes. They will take the time to explain why these moves are important and how to do them correctly.

Please re grout and thoroughly clean jacuzzi area
I enjoy the spin classes and the spin instructors, they make it fun to work hard!!
We love the pool environment and the workout rooms with the cardio machine. Also the kickboxing class was awesome l!

You provide a varied and quality program for singles, seniors, and families! The atmosphere is very clean and well ventilated, equipment in order, and staff well trained and kind! Cost is reasonable! I would absolutely recommend the "Y" to anyone and I have! Keep up the great work! I have been a member for 20 plus years and plan to remain!

The facilities at the Alpharetta Y areabove expectations. The people working there are very much interested in improving everyone's health. They are very friendly.

We have only been members of the Y for about a month. In that time, we have used the outdoor pool, the gym, and we have taken a couple of classes (kickboxing and yoga). We have been very happy with our membership so far. I like that there are all different kinds of bodies at a variety of fitness levels using the gym. Our oldest loved kickboxing, and gentle yoga with Augustine was excellent. The gym is always clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I signed up about 3 weeks ago for a family membership and have come to the YMCA almost every day since. The group classes are great and the weight training room has excellent equipment. My son also attends swim lessons and summer camp and raves about both. Would definitely recommend, especially for families. There’s something for everyone here.
