A stress free moving experience. The coordinators and movers were very thorough, polite, and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Everything went smoothly, the cost was very reasonable, and my shipped items arrived in perfect condition. What more could anyone ask for from a moving service?
My move was international. The service in Canada was excellent & everything was packed really well. The boxes could have been labelled a bit more descriptive of the insides, but not a huge problem. The affiliated company in the UK (Pickfords) were very disappointing. They only sent a crew of two men who were condescending & not particularly helpful to a single women moving a huge distance. There were over 120 boxes/items plus furniture. I accidentally ticked no unwrapping on the delivery form, which to Pickfords included all the furniture wrapped in bubble wrap & three glass table tops that were secured in heavy wooden crates. Disposing of the bubble wrap was a huge job & I had to get help with the wooden crates. I sent my comments to QMM & Pickfords did try to rectify the problem, although most of the bubble wrap had been removed. They also offered to collect the debris. I waited several days for the crew to collect the debris, but they did not arrive on time, so I had to haul everything outside my property myself (including wardrobe boxes from my upstairs) so they could collect it while I was out. When they did collect it, theyvonly collected half of the debris and have to come back. My experience with Pickfords was not a good one by any means. It appeared that they were trying to delivery a large shipment with a small crew. Plus I didn’t see any of their paperwork & was thankful I brought my packing slips with my from Canada in my luggage. Lastly, they quickly asked me to sign to say no damage and afterwards I noticed they had dented my front door frame slightly.
The planning portion of the move was extremely easy to coordinate with QMM - and they were so flexible with all the changes we threw at them until one week before the move. Also, they contacted me a few days before to re-confirm everything and understand how things are going to go the day of the move.
On the day of the move, the crew was AMAZING! they were so on top of everything, nothing got broken and they were really fast - I was very impressed. We will be def using QMM service for our next office move happening early next year.
The workers were very organized and careful with all of our belongings. Very pleased with the overall service from everyone I spoke and dealt with at QMM.
Second time using QMM - very professional company - they took such care with packing, moving and delivering the my furniture!
When our mother passed unexpectedly we needed someone to move some of her things from Ontario to Alberta. I was referred to QMM through my workplace, they move our employees that transfer. We really didn't have to to anything except tell them what we needed done. Our things arrived in Alberta and there were absolutely no issues whatsoever. Couldn't ask for better service. Their communication with us throughout the process was excellent and we even got a discount as we went through this difficult time. We would absolutely use QMM again. Driver and staff very efficient, careful, timely and professional. Minimal damage. Not happy so many of the toys were broken down despite repeated requests but so far that’s my only criticism.

QMM IS EXCELLENT!!!!!! I recently moved most of the contents of my one bedroom apartment from Edmonton to Ottawa. I read a lot of reports online about companies scamming people, breaking or losing their things, and generally being unpleasant to work with. QMM was one of the four major van lines that I asked to give me an estimate, and I'm really glad I did! They ended up being the best in terms of pricing AND their workers were all absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the moving process (they get proper healthcare and benefits in Alberta!). All of my things arrived unscathed (including an antique china cabinet, a collection of inherited china, some other precious family hand-me-downs), and within the time frame that Bob initially gave me.
My one piece of advice to anyone planning to use a cross-country van line is to make sure you ship early enough to get your things at a convenient time for you; my things arrived on the *last* day of the time frame Bob advised me (16 business days after they were collected), so I was waiting for quite some time. That's not a complaint (having to wait a bit for my things to arrive unscathed is hardly anything to complain about), but it is something to be aware of as you're planning to send your goods across the country.
They were fast and efficient.
The crew was great. Appreciated the attention to detail in packing antiques and pieces of art from 18th century.

I was very happy with the movers. They did a great job. However, yesterday after unpacking all the boxes that were packed by the workers, I discovered that my Royal Albert, bone China tea set & a Chinese tea set, among other nick knacks from my Curio was missing. I did report it and hopefully it will be found.

The crew that we had both in Sherwood Park and Radium Hot Springs were very professional and pleasant. We were very impressed with the young men's work ethic. They were extremely hard working and friendly. At both locations they arrived on time. All of our possessions arrived in tact and they were very mindful of the conditions of both our houses. We had never used a moving service prior to this and would recommend QMM to our friends and relatives.

I had called 3 different moving companies for a quote. Yours was the only one that volunteered to go to the location ( the next day) to make an assessment. Because of that, we felt your quote was more accurate, and we chose your compàny. It wasn't based on the cost.
