Mathnasium team makes math easier for the kids by explaining the problem in different ways until they get it. They also allow makeup sessions and evaluate with progress reports .

One of my children works for Mathnasium. One of my children is in 7th grade at Lincoln Middle School. Covid education has left my 7th grader without math for half of a school year, which at her age is unacceptable. My child that works at the center conveyed to our family while going through training with Mathnasium that the program addresses math at a foundational level with critical thinking skills built-in. We signed our 7th grader up and are extremely happy with the program -- more importantly, she is extremely happy with the program. She schedules herself through Appointy and takes full responsibility for her sessions. (She does not do as well with her online school learning.)

My only negative feedback is that it costs money and is not an option for families without expendable income. The achievement gap in the US will increase to a more frightening degree after the world opens back up. I am sad to know many children and families that will not be able to overcome the educational impact of the pandemic.

It is hard to get many details from my daughter but she doesn't seem to mind the sessions and am very happy to have this service while my daughter doens't have Math this semester.

In light of the shocking and disturbing decision of AUSD to jettison instruction in Math due its shutdown, Mathnasium has been a necessary and welcome substitute.

Mathnasium in Alameda is great! The process and method work very well for our child and we appreciate all of the work they put in to continuing the program online during this time of stay-at-home. Well worth the investment in our child's math education.

My daughter is so happy to attend her class. Because the instructors are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

With out Mathnasium our child will be so behind in this math studies. Social distancing schooling is a joke.

We love Mathnasium so much. The staff are all so great. They have a thorough understanding of my child's needs and adjust accordingly, especially around his learning style and his desire to accelerate his skill acquisition to qualify for a higher level class in the fall.

Their pivot to online has been a great gift for us during the pandemic. Our whole family loved the in-person experience and we miss it. That said, his tutors have been so warm and kind and helpful online and the low tutor-student ratio gives him the ample attention he needs, which really helps him flourish in a way that a traditional classroom setting hasn't.

At one point in his learning, we thought he didn't like math, or so we were told by his school at that time. It turns out, with the right level of attention and care, with the right curriculum and structure, as Mathnasium has provided, it's one of his favorite subjects.

Alameda Mathnasium is very good and help full they have good service my kids like it and gets better since starting Mathnasium I recommend to any parents.

Now that students can have their session at home online, it is super convenient. The transition from on site to online during Shelter In Place was very smooth and so appreciated!

As difficult as the virus has made communicating and motivating students to do work, mathnazuim has done an excellent job with my daughter:)

When we told our son we signed him up, he was so discouraged about math he said he would never go. But after the first session he couldn't wait to go back. The honeymoon has worn off but he's progressing in his confidence in his ability and seems to still enjoy it.

Also appreciate how quickly Mathnasium was able to move to online tutoring! It's not the same but it's been a good anchor during home schooling.

I think the program is terrific and my 11 year old daughter really benefited from it.

Kids love Mathnasium. Find learning on new online platform harder to use. Scheduling a challenge as limited online window vs old schedule that goes to 7 pm.

I am grateful that you are still offering services during these hectic times.

Our kids are enjoying Mathnasium at Home. They particularly like when the instructors give them space and time to figure out the problems on their own and only help when the kids ask for help. This is especially important for a student that has a tendency to "freeze up" mentally when they feel rushed or pressured around answering math problems. Giving them room to relax and think allows them to find the solutions themselves, which in turn builds confidence in math and in life! Thanks

You learn new things everyday. The instructors give the kids a lot of attention.

Because my daughter she getting help for Math she’s doing very good and She getting help her for homework she’s doing very good so she really like that’s the reason I give 10 too thank you for help.
