Huntington does a good job of developing a curriculum that is matched to the student’s unique needs. Such a targeted approach allows the student to make progress and gain confidence. The patient, kind staff are very skilled at motivating those who are not yet on grade level.

The teachers know how to develop a personalized curriculum and target the child’s needs-our son ‘s reading level is already starting to improve. They seem to do a good job at motivating and encouraging students who are not quite on grade level in school.

This is a great center and an exceptional program! I was skeptical at first but my husband and I decided to give it a shot after going back and forth with various tutors for over a year, who had limited success. My son who just ended third grade, was significantly behind in all areas. He had to quarantine several times over the years and has special needs. He is catching up so quickly now and is feeling much better about himself after we began this program back in January. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, and caring. They always go out of their way to make my son feel comfortable when he goes for his sessions This is a data driven program. Every month we have progress monitoring meetings with Chris, who gives us a thorough overview of his progress. Chris, Erin, Frank and all the teachers over at the Patchogue office are the best of the best! As being an educator myself I am very careful of who I say that about. You can’t get better than them! They are o professional and knowledgeable! If you have a doubt about this program let go of it now! You won’t be sorry. It’s worth every dime and is an investment in the life of your child.

I like the idea of one on one service that is offered. The idea that there are NO computer interactions is even better.. I was impressed with the in house evaluation. They cover all subjects and it's provided up to the 12th grade. It's a little pricey...but hey..it's your child's education 😉

I would have been happy with tutelage and practice tests, but HLC goes well beyond. They analyze the student's test results, identify trends, strengths and weaknesses and give helpful feedback. In addition, they are very accommodating as far as schedule changes. My child has benefitted greatly from HLC's guidance; I would recommend enthusiastically to anyone!

There is close communication; my son likes his teachers; my impression is that the staff not only cares, but possesses valuable knowledge and insight. The SAT analysis was circumspect and helpful. Whenever I call, the staff member is courteous and helpful. We are truly very happy

My son has only been attending Huntington Learning for a couple of months but the services he is receiving such as reading, writing and math have been helping him. He is autistic, speech and hearing impaired and I can begin to see a slight improvement in these areas. The instructor is patient and kind and I highly recommend Huntington Learning. The staff has been very supportive and helpful with attaining the proper help and guidance that my son needs. Thank you.

it's early in my son's journey, but the staff is smart, relatable and really seems to care. The SAT analysis was very helpful, and there was no sales pressure.
