My 8 year old son has been tutoring at Huntington for under 5 months and the growth I have seen in him is tremendous. He suffers from inattentive ADD making his ability to learn challenging- especially in a classroom setting with distractions. Huntington has not only given my son academic tools for success but also, and more importantly, it has given him confidence. My son who fights me on doing homework and studying actually ASKS to go to Huntington! He loves it!!! I never thought he would love learning. The instructors are kind and patient and provide praise every few minutes throughout the session. My son who was struggling to do basic addition just months ago now comes home and does multiplication in his head and doesn’t even know he’s doing it. He now knows what information to pick out when he’s reading. He actually remembers what he has read (huge progress). Unlike many other tutoring programs, Huntington’s reading comprehension program uses non-fiction factual stories so while the children are learning phonics and reading comprehension they are also learning some fact whether it be history or whatnot. I could go on and on about this but if you have a struggling child and you’ve tried all the other tutoring programs without success, Huntington may be the answer to your prayers, like it was to mine.

I like how the focus on the needed studies that our children need to focus on are taken as priority in their learning plan. Both of my children have expressed how much they enjoy going to Huntington and what they are learning. I am glad that my children are enjoying their learning experience there.

Customizable...Tests what they already know and what they need to learn. Results...All three of my kids who did the program had big increases in standardized test scores and confidence levels in the subjects they studied.
