My daughter seems to like her experience. The staff is friendly. I'm not in the room with her, so I couldn't say if I think it's helping her or not. I guess I will have to see how she does on the re-testing.

One of the best aspects of Huntington Learning Center is that my son enjoys working there. It’s challenging to get his buy in some days, but he’s always in a pleasant and relaxed mood after his two hour sessions. We have decided to change his hours so he’s at HLC once during the week and on Saturdays. This schedule may be less strenuous for him. Last night, I had a chance to see the in-depth analysis of my son’s work. Seeing the progress and the customized learning plan and how the system works helped me understand precisely what my child has learned during his 30 hours at the learning center. Having the level of detail I observed last night helped in three main ways: 1) seeing examples and having explanations of the various learning objectives, coupled with understanding my sons scores allowed me to understand exactly what’s been covered and where he stands. 2) seeing my sons scores and how well the customized plan is being implemented allowed me to see that his progress is well documented and that he is in fact learning. 3) Seeing the data and how the system is tailored provided me with the confidence that my son’s academic status will continue to be strengthened. My feedback would be that it may be ideal to prepare some sort of periodic process report, perhaps bi-monthly, so families have a window into their children’s progress as they wait for a comprehensive overview during the meeting that occurs once 35 hours have been reached. I appreciate that Huntington has developed a comprehensive and customized system to help kids learn and track their progress.

I appreciate the individualized approach to my daughter's tutoring, specifically targeting her area of need and the commitment each tutor provides to ensure her success. The staff is extremely professional and as a result we are seeing the academic improvement we were seeking.

This program truly lives up to the expectations. During Covid the team was great about remote learning when needed and worked with our teens very busy schedule. They kept themselves and more importantly our teen (us too) accountable for his success, with progress meetings and practice tutorials prior to the SAT's. This process totally worked! Our son's SAT score went from a 920 to a 1350 and has boosted his confidence as we start college applications!!!

I like the way how the assessment is done for the child, identifying the weakness and how to work to achieve the goal. The teacher attention is great because is one to one specific for the child needs compare to other learning centers with bigger groups. The staff coordinators are very nice and patient. I recommend this learning center to other parents.
