The care you have for children's education. You target in on their actual area of difficulty and including other skills. Teaching time management , organization skills, ect. Most of all you see them as an person and each of their needs are tutored for them. It doesn’t matter if, there is a disability the disability label doesn’t exist.
My son loves his 2 instructors for SAT prep (Ken for Math and Cheryl for English). The program director, Mike, is helpful and was able to rearrange some sessions to accommodate baseball season. Thanks to the great crew at HLC!!

Adaptability - working with the parents to find the best teaching methods/approaches for the kid, willing to try to different incentives and move schedules around, switch teachers to best match teacher with kid personality, and thorough feedback about challenges and progress.
Wonderful communication from the staff. The teachers are great about meeting my son where he is and being flexible and creative with techniques that help his learn at his best. Working with the teachers at Huntington has increased his confidence and learning and problem solving skills so much.

I like their professionalism and friendliness. They take the time to get to know all the students, and call them by their names every time they see them. Always making sure parents are up to date with the kids progress. Also, they design a program based on your child’s needs and are open to make adjustments based on their progress.
