My 4th grade daughter has been a student of Huntington learning for the last 7 months. The focus of her lessons has been Study Skills, Math, Writing and Reading. As a former teacher, I appreciate the structured manner in which they assess your child to determine exactly where to begin remediation. Because of this, I feel reassured that my daughter will achieve mastery of the skills she needs to be successful. I also like that parents are kept abreast of the progress being made on a regular basis. I have seen my daughters confidence in her abilities improve and she has even asked if she can just be home schooled and attend Huntington daily, rather than going to traditional school. The staff is so caring and genuine and this is something I have always felt kids pick up on. Children know when the adults they interact with have a genuine concern for them. Attending Huntington has definitely reignited a wonder and a want about learning in my daughter. It is the best investment I have ever made.
We appreciated the personal attention our daughter, and we, received regarding setting up ACT tutoring sessions. She has only had one session but felt that it went well and was beneficial for her.
The tutoring provided for my son is geared toward my son and nothing else. His needs are what Huntington puts first and foremost.

We have worked with Huntington off and on for a few years. The have been consistent with tutoring. Our child feels more confident with her school work. In addition to the good tutoring they worked us in on their full schedule. Greatly appreciate this facility and staff.

So happy I called Hungtington. My son was having a hard time with Physics and I tried two other tutoring companies that made me waste my time and took my money to only then find out they really didn’t have any teachers that taught Physics. Then I called Hungtington and they were awesome! They did have Physics teachers and they were great! They charge me after the lessons. Thank you Hungtington.
We loved the personalized tutoring that the staff gave my daughter. Even throughout COVID, they were always in person 1:1 tutoring. We loved working with her primary tutor as well as the other staff. My daughter was in the 1st grade when she entered but only placed in Kindergarten reading. After 1.5years she was in going into 2nd grade and was ahead of her peers. She’s much for confident in her ability to read and do basic math.

Every child has a quirt or personal hurdle, my daughter has both. Fortunately, Nicole has the needed experience and patience to engage my girl and make the most of her current challenges.
Now the hardest part of the GED has been passed (Math), so now only 3 of the less intimidating ones to go!

My grandson has an excellent tutor. He is knowledgeable friendly and his schedule is flexible. We work together for both their sports schedules.

They really get to know a student's strengths and weaknesses, as a person, rather than just looking at the practice test areas that need to be shored up.

I was very impressed during our initial conversations with the insight and plan that the Plymouth staff presented.
After my son's first session, he was excited/energized with where his ACT score could be and how he will be able to improve it.
Although this survey is a bit pre-mature (we will know more after he takes the test), how positive and willing he is to do the work is very promising to us as parents!
