Farideh (the owner of this location) truly cares about our son... she is personally invested in his growth and development (beyond academics). In addition to her educational expertise, she has a strong background in psychology and helps children holistically (i.e., with social skills, etc). I wish I had found this resource much earlier.

Huntington did a very thorough job of assessing both my sons' needs, outlining a plan, and ensuring both child made progress in his area of focus.
My oldest is working on his ACT prep currently and has made great progress, learned useful techniques, and even developed some knowledge that wasn't covered in school.
My youngest really benefitted from the math assessment and tutoring. He accelerated quickly through math at school, skipping multiple grades in math, but that left him with a number of gaps in his knowledge and abilities that were making the accelerated math more challenging for him. Huntington filled those gaps and ensured he was fully capable in each milestone area before moving him forward.
Well worth the money to set my kids up for success.

So far Huntington has been very welcoming for my daughters first 3 sessions. They make every to ensure your child is comfortable and hear your concerns about anything right away as well.

In 2021 J received a certificate of attendance; his IEP was not developed with graduation as a goal. Approximately 7 months ago, Huntington in Herndon started working with J to address gaps in his education. J had an elementary level grasp of mathematics and a junior high level understanding of social studies, science, and language. Both J and Huntington worked hard, and J has passed the Language, Science, and Social Studies portions of the GED and is on track to pass the math portion later this year. Huntington instilled a love of learning and a sense of confidence which J is planning to take to Junior College.
Things I found really helpful about HLC: One on one counseling and care. Lots of positive and constructive feedback. A plan and a goal were set and obtained.
The tutors and administration have been great!

I can't say enough great things about Huntington. They are so student focused and 'customer' friendly: they adapt to our needs, changes and goals. Their tutors are excellent in their listed subject matters and in relating to our student. And they are so caring. Our student is older than most and still the services are so valuable.
