Oscar and his team are great! My kids love going to Mathnasium!

From the welcoming moment to when you walk in, to the friendly and approachable instructors, Mathnasium has it all! Curriculum, kindness and a cool atmosphere!

So happy I found Mathnasium! I have an 11 year old who is in 6th grade and seemed to be struggling in math. I have already seen improvement with my son's math grade and confidence.

The instructors are doing a great job in teaching my son. Having the flexibility of being in person or from home is a big help.

My son was really struggling with math. His grades were slipping and we fought constantly about homework. He was miserable and angry and started to hate school altogether. After his initial assessment with Mathnasium he was excited to go back. Within a few sessions he was already in a better mood, his confidence was restored and he was back to enjoying school. His grades improved and about a year later he’s consistently bringing home A’s and his teacher reports that he’s eager and participates regularly in class. Mathnasium made a huge difference not just in his report card but in helping remove anxiety around school in general.

Oscar and the crew are patient, flexible and structured. My pre teen and teen sons both enjoy the environment and expectations. There’s no complaining when they need to go to Mathnasium in Wauconda!!

During the pandemic lockdown we wanted to be sure our boys education moved forward. Our youngest has taken to the Mathnasium program and looks forward to the sessions. He likes getting ahead of his class and feels a sense of accomplishment. With the kids back in the classroom we have decided to keep Mathnasium going as we see benefits of setting solid weekly habits. Our son is a winner and this is a winning program.

Very forthcoming with information regarding progress and plan. My daughter is really enjoying the tutoring sessions and instead of saying she hates math, she is now saying she might want to teach math when she grows up.

My third grader loves Mathnasium! The staff has done an amazing job to accommodate both in-center and online sessions. I feel safe sending my daughter to in-center sessions with all of the measures they are taking in regards to COVID. She stays engaged with the curriculum and loves receiving rewards when she reaches a new level. I especially appreciate that they reach out to her teacher to customize her learning and she can bring school work with her that she is struggling with. When I tell her we are going to Mathnasium she is excited! That is the most important to me. Learning should be fun!

Center Director Oscar is very personable and accommodating. My daughter, who did not like mathematics so much, learned how to have a pleasant experience when learning it. So if you can afford it, then the kids will greatly benefit from these lessons.

I always felt that my children were actually learning and moving forward with their math skills vs school. They also have great leadership to help them. Very happy with this school.
