My daughter has just joined Mathnesium Aurora for one month. She enjoys learning Math here and proud of seeing herself improving in Math concept. Small group setting and sometimes one on one teaching is suitable for her quiet character. The instructors are nice and friendly from what my girl has told me and she likes the little piece of comments from instructor gave her after each session. It records her accomplishments and gives motivation to move on to the next challenge.

We were looking for a math program after our sons finished their Grade 8 year. Although they did well in math, they had an ineffective teacher who caused them to fall out of love with the subject which has always been a favourite.
A friend recommended Mathnasium and specifically the Aurora location because of how well run the program is by Dennis Kang, Centre Director. We live in Richmond Hill so this was a big commitment for us time wise to drive back and forth to Aurora, but it turned out to be the best thing we could have done for our sons.
We enrolled the boys nearly 9 months ago before stating their Grade 9 math semester. They enjoy going for the hour a few times a week (8 times a month during the school year) and it has made a HUGE improvement on their confidence and enjoyment of the subject again.
Overall, the instructors are great and pay attention to the boys when working on the lessons (no looking at their cell phone nonsense) and Dennis is fantastic too. Dennis always replied quickly to messages and is there if you need anything.
We would have written a review earlier but we wanted to see how our sons would make out this semester for math. Truly a fantastic math program for your kids.

Excellent teaching

My daughter was very reluctant to go to mathnasium. After several arguments she finally agreed to try it. When I picked her up after her first lesson, she couldn’t stop smiling! She was so happy to finally feel good when learning math. We were only planning on keeping her in short term, but it’s hard to take her out when she’s feeling so successful!

Our granddaughter really enjoys her mathnasium sessions. She likes all of her teachers and the director is friendly and kind to the kids. But there is still discipline. All the students have rules to follow. Our granddaughter started mathnasium classes after a year of online school due to the pandemic. She continues because she truly enjoys it.

The Aurora location is a great site. My 8 year old really enjoys attending and she's doing really well in math in school. Great grades! The tutors work on math papers in the site, and there is no additional homework to be done at home which is nice because there is a lot of other homework from school already. Great manager as well!
