What a nightmare.
No flexibility, open 2 nights a week, just rote learning. Our son hated going, his marks didn’t improve and his attitude towards learning cratered.

The centre manager and the tutors at the Cambridge Mathnasium location have literally changed the trajectory of my daughter's schooling. COVID and absenteeism from anxiety took a multi-year toll on her, and by grade 10, she wasn't just failing math... she was getting 3% on tests and was depressed and isolating herself. We reached out to the Mathnasium for help, and within 3 months, the staff had assessed her and determined that she was missing several foundational concepts, AND they had moved her from 3% to 48% in her class. They continued to work with her during her math credit recovery process the following term, and she was able to pass grade 10 math by the end of June. This week, after continuing to work with her tutors for grade 11 math, my daughter nearly burst through the doors of the centre to tell the team that she had got 80% on her first grade 11 math test!
