When we first applied to Mathnasium, my son was going through a period where his Mathematics level had dropped quite significantly. We have now been attending the programme for approximately 11 months, and we started primarily by filling in the gaps in his knowledge, which has been extremely beneficial in building a strong foundation which allowed him up to the Higher class at school .
We are currently preparing for GCSEs and are in Year 10. Mathnasium offered to create a tailored plan specifically for him, outlining the most proactive way for him to prepare. I believe this approach will be particularly helpful in ensuring that he stays on track and continues to make steady progress. Thank you !

My daughter has been attending the Mathnasium Fulham centre consistently for several months. She used to lack confidence in maths and often struggled to keep up during school lessons. However, by going to Mathnasium every day and studying consistently, she has now come to truly enjoy maths. At school, she is even given new and more challenging tasks because of her strong interest and progress in the subject.

My son struggled throughout primary school and had many gaps in his maths knowledge. We tried tutors, but they only worked with him once a week, which wasn’t enough. Having more sessions was simply too expensive for us. It also wasn’t very effective, as the tutors didn’t have a clear plan and didn’t address the root of his difficulties.
When we started with The Mathnasium, everything changed. We love their framework and structured approach.They focused on identifying and filling the gaps in his understanding, giving him a strong foundation to build on. As a result, he now feels much more confident in maths, and his grades have improved. Progress wasn’t instant, but it was steady and successful.
Most importantly, he has learned that success isn’t about being “born” with a skill, but about the effort and time you invest. Thanks to The Mathematicians, he has become more disciplined, more confident, and continues to improve his results.
Very good way of motivating children, allowing for efficient catchup on most of the curriculum of year 3 and/or development ahead of the school program.

We honestly cannot recommend Manthansium highly enough. Since joining, the difference it has made for our 7-year-old has been incredible.

Staff are friendly and helpful. My children are engaged, focused and enjoy each lesson.
My son is very happy with his sessions and enjoying maths again. He loves all of his tutors and says he has fun doing his sessions. We can see improvements in his approach to maths outside of his sessions too.
My daughter enjoys attending Mathnasium. We have seen a positive change in general to her maths learning and an improvement to her understanding.
Only concern is she has had a couple of distractions from fellow students during sessions which she feels she could do without. Hopefully she can tell the adults who are around and perhaps get moved to another table if this happens in the future.

Mathnasium seem very thorough and methodical in tuition. They assess each student and devise a tuition program for them. Monitoring progress and informing you is regular.

I am very pleased with this math center in Chelsea, the teachers are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about students’ understanding rather than just memorization. Lessons are well-structured, and concepts are explained clearly, which has greatly improved confidence and problem-solving skills. The learning environment is supportive and motivating, making my son feel comfortable asking questions. I have seen noticeable progress in his performance and attitude toward math. A great place to learn. Both my daughters (age 7 and 9) attend and have improved their understanding of maths. The tutors are engaging and make it a fun place to attend.
Lovely staff, child more confident with maths, flexible sessions
My grandson was getting bored in maths lessons at school because he was having to wait for others to finish and not being stretched. He goes to a very good school but maths is his interest. He loves coming to do maths in a fun environment where he can explore the subject as much as he wishes. He likes all the staff and feels very comfortable. Always comes away with a big smile on his face.
Basically, it's not magic, it's lots and lots of practice. But it's a warm setting with lots of kind and patient tutors who really seem to care. I never thought I, or anyone, could convert my daughter into any kind of a mathematician but I was wrong.
Smart, competent, and kind staff with a fun reward system. My children’s attitude toward mathematics has improved dramatically. I can’t recommend the Ealing branch highly enough!
