Universal Title was incredibly thorough and patient with me as a first0time home buyer. The team I worked with was recommended to me by both my agent and my loan officer, and they helped quell any concerns or fears I had of the home-buying and closing processes.
The UT team worked with me to make sure I was getting the best bang for my buck (they understood I had limited cash on hand to close on my home) and made sure my gift funds were well documented. Every time our situation changed for financial, buying-strategy, budgeting, and gifting reasons throughout my 3-week negotiation and closing process, I got a phone call and follow-up email from the team to make sure I still felt good about the process and any new directions we were taking. I never felt stranded, alone, or overly-confused during the whole process--which was such a huge comfort.
On the day of closing, the UT team made sure I didn't feel rushed while signing my closing documents, answered any last minute questions I had thoroughly, explained documents to me in layman's terms so everything was clear and understandable, and celebrated my first home purchase with me--including taking pictures of and for me with my keys and realtor.
I could not have asked for a better, more supportive, or more friendly team to work with during such an otherwise stressful life event.
