We had asked to have it in our profile, we can only have morning cleanings. We have one year old triplets and can’t have a cleaning crew working during their naps. On at least 3 occasions, no one showed up for their morning cleaning. It was only after I called the office I was told there was a scheduling issues and the crew was running late. I was never called in advance of these issues. I was offered to have another crew come on one occasion, but it still wouldn’t be for hours and it would not be a morning cleaning as requested and would mess up our triplets naps, so I declined. When asked once if I would be charged for rescheduling, I was told yes, even though it was in our profile we requested morning cleanings. The girl in the office claimed numerous times, “sorry I’m new” and tried to play it off these things weren’t issues. When I told her we shouldn’t be charged as it was in our file, she looked and did eventually apologize for the mistake and we were not charged. We also had to request a change in the cleaning crew because they were not cleaning as we were told they would. They would clean around the mat on the floor, etc. when I called the office asking if this was correct, I was told no, the crew should be moving the mats to clean underneath them. The next crew was better, but the never seemed to do a “deep clean” on the two rooms as we were also told. They went through each room quickly, and never spent more time in the two rooms as we were told, as the “deep clean” rooms were to rotate each visit. Not to mention, when given our quote for the services we requested, we were quoted $132 but based on what I was charged, it was $134. I was confused and realized whoever gave the quote could not do math properly and did not add the service items properly, therefore giving us a false price. I understand mistakes happen, but $2 each visit adds up, especially with triplets, and it should be verified everything is correct before clients are asked to sign off. It is our fault by not double checking the price as well, but as a professional company, I did not believe that was necessary. I am not happy with merry maids at all and I would not recommend them to anyone, especially after all the issues we had.

These are very hard working ladies but at times I think that it would be useful and slow down just a bit. Over the past year there have been a number of different maids at the house, not recently, which means each time there is a change I have to go through a number of things, due to my handicapped issues, that I have to remember to tell them that are unique to my needs.

The Merry Maids team was punctual, professional, fast, efficient, thorough, and friendly.
