He was patient, loaded us up with useful information, and even followed up after the sale to offer tips and answer questions while we were out on our first trip. That’s the kind of service that actually matters. Bo, the sales manager, kept the same tone: friendly, professional, and no high-pressure nonsense. He made the paperwork side feel easy instead of overwhelming. Colby in finance was great too—he walked us through everything, answered every question, and made the financing process as painless as possible. No smoke and mirrors, just clear communication. Another thing that really struck us: everyone we dealt with—from service to make-ready to parts—actually had real-world RV experience. They weren’t just reading manuals; they understood RV life and it showed. It made us feel like we were in good hands, and so far, that’s exactly how it’s turned out. When I walked into the Ashland Virginia store, I felt like I was already part of the General RV family. Everyone was so incredibly warm, inviting and accommodating, and so pleasant I regret ever going anywhere else. From online sales with Greg, financial advisor Seth to the amazing people in the store and service department I was treated with kindness and respect. General RV has not forgotten what customer service is and went on to redefine the RV business as a family friendly affair.
