I'm a fan of the soccer program! We just had swim lessons there for the first time. My 2 kids had back to back lessons, so we were there for 2 hours each session. It was pretty brutal being there so long with the lack of shade on the pool side. And the wasps in the bathroom were terrible! My kids were afraid to go in them so we had to walk to the sports bathrooms. The instructors were good, but more shade would be appreciated.
Ms. Shelly has been a wonderful swim teacher for my son, who was nervous about putting his head in the water. He says often that he loves swim lessons.

My daughter took swimming lessons here and we couldn’t be happier! She was very hesitant to go under water and by the end of the swim lessons, she was able to go under and more! Her coach was very patient and kind. And the facility was very clean.
I participate in swim lessons. The groups are small and the instructor is kind. The small pool can get crowded though.
Frank is wonderful! I was very apprehensive as I am a senior citizen, so years of fears. He is patient and is very good at explaining what we are doing. I am a thinker and visual learner, so his explanations and examples work very well for me. Frank is very friendly and encouraging. He definitely puts me at ease. Everyone I have encountered at this location is very friendly!
Coach Tony is doing a great job with the Sharks. My children have done the Sharks before but stopped because there was no fun. Coach Tony provides instruction but also fun! We enjoy the races and the games at the end of the hour. It gives the kids motivation to push through the laps.
I appreciate all of the activities that are available to all ages. With so many different forms of exercise for different levels it makes the YMCA friendly and accessible.

One-on-One swimming lessons have been great for our son. He's made tremendous progress in just the few sessions.

The instructor was great at getting my special needs child to feel more confident and enjoy being in the water. He went from being so scared he was shaking to doggy paddling and floating very quickly. A+ social/emotional skills!
My kids loved swimming lessons! They have been to different swim lessons and this is the first time they connected, understood and were excited to go. Our instructor Isabel was great to the boys!

Our swimming instructor was very patient with our child who was hesitant to join the activities. She let her come around in her own time and in turn our child is now excited for swim lessons.

Ms. Sky has been an excellent swim instructor for my 6 year old. In just a few lessons, my child has made incredible progress. My child loves his swim lessons and is so excited each time we arrive for his lesson. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
The swim teachers are very encouraging and have so much patience with the kids. The class size is small (both classes only have 4 students each) so the kids get a lot of individualized attention. At the end of each lesson the swim coaches take the time to talk to each parent about how their child did. Both of my sons are enjoying it and we would love to come back next year!
