love the yoga, facility always bright and clean
Very affordable
Has everything I want and is close to home. Staff is helpful and everyone respects each other.
I like the programming for seniors
I took a reformed class with Kenny, very engaged I loved it
I love your programs, activities and all of the instructors. My one suggestion would be that the system of checking paper towel dispensers, anti-bacterial bottles, toilet paper, etc. should be more scheduled. Perhaps first thing in the morning, then every couple of hours. Also, the red light on the water filter for the water dispensers has been on for quite some time. However, that replacement of the filter may not fall under the duties of the front desk workers. All of the front desk workers are very friendly and helpful. From past experiences, I just don't think there is a schedule that is adhered to or available for the workers to regularly check the above-referenced items. Thank you for making the Y such a warm and welcoming facility, as well as offering so many classes and activities for various age groups.
The instructors are great. The classrooms are very nice and clean.
Location, weight room, lack of crowdedness
I enjoy the ambiance of the Y.M.C.A. It is very comforting to work out in a family atmosphere.
I love the Aquatic Center and their exercise program.
I’ve only been there 3 times and taken one class but it was a great yoga class on a Sunday which is hard to find.
I like the hours and the convenient location. There is a variety of equipment available and I don't usually have a wait to access it. The staff are very helpful if there is a question about how to use the equipment. I know there are many classes, but I haven't participated.
The gym is spacious and clean, and the staff is very friendly
The size of the facility. It’s small and private.
I love the indoor pool and staff except for one very grumpy, swim instructor. Older gray haired woman, yelled at me when I picked up a kickboard for my granddaughter. She very sternly yelled, “those are for my swim class!”. Told me where to find ones we could use. Her class didn’t start for another 40 minutes. And when it started, the 2 little boys and their dad (who was helping her with them) did not use them. I signed my granddaughter up for swim classes and she better not be the instructor.
The Schertz YMCA is not only a wonderful place to pursue your exercise goals, but also a wonderful place to make lasting friendships. Hats off to the outstanding staff, led by Mario Gallegos, the Executive Director.
I want to compliment the referees. They have been doing a great job of being fair and explaining to the kids why they call certain fouls or other calls. Keep up the great work.
Great program keep up the amazing work!!
I really appreciate the team morale motivated by the coaches and how they take time to work with each kid individually.
Great program, staff & coaches.
Great variety of classes and friendly instructors
Family oriented and friendly all around! Ultimately, the staff’s welcoming personalities are appreciated!
Affordable Programs
Great sports program for the kids!
The basketball season has been fun. My only complaint is the girls always have the auxiliary gym and the boys are in the nicer gym at the same facility. Maybe next year the girls can have the nice gym once in a while.
You need to get the refs to call fouls, especially in the 9-10 age group. Right now fouls are not being called and the games look more like rugby than basketball. Ball handlers get fouled every possession by most teams.
Everything out of the YMCA has been very organizes and clear. That is very helpful for a first time coach!
Basketball

I love how the youth sports programs create community and a sense of belonging.
