Platinum provides all the supplemental needs of my horse in one product. My horse is a picky eater and it took a while for her to eat a full recommended daily dose but she now eats it fine. Cost is a deterant to many but if they totaled the cost of the multiple supplements they feed I would bet they spend more doing self formulation that probably isn't properly balanced. So far, so good with platinum allergy for my Mare, who has really bad allergies. Platinum is definitely more than what the vet prescribed medication was. But this way it is USDF compliant and works well so far.
