I have a Thoroughbred colt at Gulfstream Park who was born on my farm and was an orphan. He has had 2 colic surgeries due to a small intestinal twist both times, and the surgeon recommended PP GI, which I plan on keeping him on as long as I can afford it. I have noticed a significant price increase which has put a strain on my being able to keep him on it, and I understand the whole issue with inflation, but I really hope there will not be any more price increases. That would be my only compliant. I hope that at some point the price may even come down a tad because $100 a month is so expensive for a supplement.

We have a "Senior" horse that has developed Cushings' Disease. Although we had him on prescription medication and changed his diet, his coat was not shiny and his mane and tail were brittle and thin. We noted that no matter what he ate, he would not gain weight. It didn't help that the poor fellow also had some dental issues.
Our veterinarian suggested we try adding the Platinum GI to his diet. We are happy to report that our boy, Sawtime, is looking so much better and even acts like a much younger horse! We add the Platinum to his evening feed, and he really looks forward to his "special" grain! It is obvious to us now that he was not absorbing the nutrients from his food, but now he is.

Fortunately, the mare I have now has never colicked. But 2 veterinarians I highly respect recommend your product. One of those is Matt Durham, who performed two surgeries on my grey Arab mare, Cameo Leia at the Salinas facility. She didn't thrash when recovering from the anesthesia. She just sat up and then stood. Before the 2nd surgery (to remove an enterlith), I asked him if she would thrash this time. He said he remembered her! I was very impressed by that considering how many hundreds of horses he has treated. Miss "Camy" lived to age 34 after 10 years of laminitis, recovering beautifully from the two surgeries.
