Since my son started the Sylvan Learning Program. We have noticed that he has been progressing very well. His teacher has also advised us of his improvements. The Staff at Sylvan Kerrisdale are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very supportive environment. My daughter is very slow in math but the tutors helped her build confidence. Sylvan offered her 2 options - homework support or helping her follow their system to prepare for the following years. Because she was in high school, homework support and learning ahead worked for her. Brenda, the coordinator, was always so accommodating and flexible whenever my daughter needed extra lessons before a major test. People say that Sylvan is more expensive than other places or private tutoring. My comment is you get what you pay for. The tutors are excellent and my daughter, although she hated math, loved going to Sylvan because it helped build her confidence to get through math in high school. Five years of tutoring paid off for her. As a parent, it is more important to know that my child can turn her fear of math into an accomplishment that would help her gain confidence for post secondary.
