The individualized attention given to address my child's areas of trouble.
My son just began at Sylvan, but we are all very hopeful that his reading will improve. We are happy with the customer service they provide at Sylvan, and how they care about involving the school teachers where the child attends, in an effort to get everyone to help in the education of the student.
Our grandson is happy to go to Sylvan!! His confidence about himself and his reading ability has improve more in the few months has gone to Sylvan than in three years of school. He likes that he has a goal and is willing to work towards that goal..
My child is already making advances in his reading, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Friendly and effective
Very friendly staff that puts the student at ease. The student loves going every day. I have had others attend Sylvan and have never been dissappointed about any aspect of the program/people.
Fortunately for us, we have my grandson at the Taylorsville facility and the Director, Melissa Paskett is very, very, very professional in her responsibilities. She is always so cheerful and always treats us with respect and always "informs" us about everything that is happening and or going on with my grandson. We are very pleased with our decision to have Sylvan assist us in building confidence in my grandson's education.
I love the friendly staff. They have been so amazing working with my daughter she has grown so much in the short time she has been with Sylvan. Thanks for all the hard work.
The thing I liked best was the professionalism. Every time I called or went in I was always greeted with a smile. I felt like when I had a problem, I was actually listened to and not just dismissed. Even though nothing may have changed, at least my issue was acknowledged. My daughter's scores improved and I can't wait for school to start to see if that actually follows up in the classroom as it should.
My children really enjoy the personal attention they recieve. It really movtivates them to learn, which also has made them more responsible with their home activities.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. I also like that after my son is done with his sessions he is happier and more confident. I also like sylvan's website it is nice to be able to check his progress and read the articles and activities we can do at home.

So far everyone has been very nice and helpful. Madee is getting her confidence back and she now trying in Math. She passed Math this term so I think she is starting to get it.
The staff are friendly and my child loves going there and learning. The environment is very welcoming and comforatable. That is important when a child is struggling with their school work.
That are willing to work with the parents and grandparents. Our grand son may not always like to be going to Slyvan, but when we arrive he jumps out of the car and runs inside to gt started. He he already learned a lot in just a month.
My son really enjoys going. He says that he likes the teachers, they make learning fun.
