My daughter loves going to Sylvan and has a very special bond with her tutor, Jay. She says he explains math so she understands and she isn't interested in having any other tutor. Sylvan accommodates her tutor preference. Her confidence in math has improved greatly and we are very happy with our decision to send her.
My daughter has been struggling with foundational reading skills. The school closure due to Covid, missing out on the last 3 months of kinder, and online learning had made 1st grade a challenge for all of us. Sylvan is helping her close her skill gaps, she loves the activities and is engaged while at Sylvan, and we are seeing her confidence increase with her ELA assignments in school. For a child who started to cry at the thought of reading or writing to be excite to spend an additional 6 hours a week working on those same skills is so amazing. She is excited to get to Sylvan, always has a smile when she leaves, is earning all As and 1 B on her report card, and no longer fights with us when we practice reading and writing at home!

She is a very good student and math was affecting her mood . She literally became very depressed. I reach out to Sylvan not thinking it would help . I was so wrong it changed the whole dynamics of my family immediately. The tutors are highly qualified and the administrators match the students so well according to their needs .
Thank you for helping my daughter from falling into a deep depression because she felt like a total failure in math . Now she understands what she is doing and does very well .

We have had excellent results from Sylvan Learning Center in Henderson.
Several years ago we sent my daughter there when after going through all the reading assistance programs CCSD had given her, she still could not read after the 2nd grade.
She is now a thriving adult with a BS degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing.
Who would have ever thought that would be the road she would excel in.
We now have my granddaughter attending and are expecting the same outstanding results.

My kids love Sylvan Learning Center. Every time they walk out of one of their sessions they have smiles and are super happy. Ms. Tina and Ms. Nicole are very sweet and super welcoming they make us feel at home.

I like the one on one with my son which helps keep him focused. It provides a great learning environment for him when he has a teacher that can work with him. My son has a learning disability and pairing him with a teacher who has a degree in Special Education helps tremendously.
Very organized and on time. My son feels excited about going and I feel he has gained confidence in reading and writing.

Punctuality serious commitment to the students
My daughter started in November at a first grade reading level and by June she was at a third grade reading level. She has improved so much and i'm so proud of her. The tutors and staff are always so helpful and friendly.
The sincerity wanting to see improvement in the child and do what you can to make it happen.
She always seems excited to go to Sylvan. Kayla likes that the teachers are patient with her.
Everyone was very friendly. Our Son was able to begin his tutoring right away and if we had any questions it was easy to call and get a response right away.
