Our family absolutely loved Sylvan! Our daughter enjoyed their curriculum and we saw exponential growth in her reading and writing skills. With the help of Sylvan it made the decision to homeschool our daughter even easier to make. We thank Sylvan so much for all of the hard work they poured into our baby girl and we are watching her flourish before our eyes. Other family members and close friends even notice the difference in her speech and how she now problem solves various situations. Sylvan definitely deserves a 10/10. Any time we had questions or concerns they addressed them immediately. We participated in their Program from Janaury through July of 2026 and it was much needed weekly one on one time with those teachers. We cannot thank Sylvan enough for all of their help!
Sylvan tutors are great and helped by child feel more prepared for the ACT. They had an improvement of 3 points with 2 days a week tutoring for two hours each session for about 4 weeks.
The Garner location has been exceptional to work with. We’ve referred other families to the center to SAT/ACT tutoring.

I don't know what you are doing in class but keep doing it. Since My granddaughter has been coming to Sylvan, she has been so motivated to learn, and she has improved in class work at school She leaves out of Sylvan with a smile. She is much happier about learning. She doesn't cry anymore about going to school. She is asking me to read her books now, at first, she would not sit still long enough for me to read her a page.in a book but now we can get thru a short story. She states that she can't wait to go to tutoring.j

So far our daughter is significantly improving since working with Sylvan!!! She is able to remember and write out 10 site words!! (It’s probably more than that now and if you only knew where she started from!!)
So, seeing the excitement in our daughter’s face and her eagerness now to want to try and read more and eagerness to complete her ABC mouse work at home is simply refreshing as her parents to see.
We could not be more happier and we will continue with Sylvan and please note they are worth every last penny!

Care sbout the whole person. They are not only very knowledgable about the subject material (my son needed extra help with HS geometry), but ask they questions to learn what intetests them outside of school. They know every kid by name.
I love both Directors at Sylvan. So far, our daughter is desiring to learn more; especially read more. And that makes us as her parents feel amazing.

Math has often been a difficult subject for my daughter. She very much wanted to do a higher level math class, even though her teacher recommended a lower level class. With support from Sylvan, she's continuing to maintain A grades - and has asked if she can stay with her Sylvan tutor for all of high school. Having the opportunity to review and have complicated lessons retaught in a way she really understands, means everything to her!
My son does very well in school when he's taking regular tutoring sessions at Sylvan.
Very flexible and interactive with parents including dealing with constant schedule changes due to busy lives of kids. My kids always come home saying they had a good time and our prideful about their progress.
Great work with our grandson. It’s not easy to keep a 16 year old interested, but somehow you manage to do it. He loves to come to his lessons.

I'm thankful about how they do their best to work with me when I need to reschedule a session whether it's early or late. Sometimes if they have early openings they'll contact me to see if my son's available and if he's not they're still understanding. I've had NO complaints about the service my son is getting.

Communication is excellent and the process is smooth. I feel like my daughter is making progress. The staff is very nice and professional.
The staff at Sylvan was so professional and polite from start to finish. I am so thankful for all the help they provided my son,Elijah. Elijah is always so excited to go to Sylvan and is gaining clarification on those things he needed help on in school.
