I’m still not a fan if the current progress reports. At the end of the day I am looking for really simple feedback. For us, we are looking for Nate to be at grade level. I’m still unsure of where he is. I see what he has mastered and what he is working on...but I’m looking for a very simple note that says where he is at in comparison to his grade level and what we need to focus on.
With that said- I love what the program has done for his confidence.
I just need to understand...I’m straight forward terms, how he is doing.

Our son is a math wiz and was bored in school. Mathnaseum is the only program we could find that offers an advanced program for gifted kids. Our son was placed with a private instructor who makes learning and acceleration really fun. For part of the time, they do math games and puzzles together. Our son is also learning to be more focused and to double check his work. He is loving this program!

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium since May of 2017, starting at the end of 7th grade. We are slowly approaching the one year mark! She was getting A's and B's until the end of 6th grade in middle school. At the end of 7th grade she was testing out at having a very low mastery of math skills - at a 4th-5th grade level! :( Unfortunately with the current public school math teaching model in Novato she, like many, are advanced to the next level year after year not having ever mastered the previous years. This resulted in huge gaps in her mastery and have vastly affected her middle school math grades, and even worse, her confidence. Her gaps were confirmed by another outside testing source. We tried peer tutors, private tutors, and assisting her every way we could at home, from checking work to watching videos, but she just needed more help than we could give her. She felt she was "stupid" when all she needed was more time with the material and to be given work based on where she was at, so she could continue to build on her mastery. We are so very lucky to have Sang and Mathnasium as a resource to fill the gaps. Thanks to this resource, and accelerating her work, my daughter will be caught up by the time she reaches high school. So very thankful!!

We started the program a month ago and have been thrilled with the results. We have two children at the center and they really enjoy going, they are feeling much confident about their math skills and feel that the environment is very supportive.
