Since our son Elan has been attending the program we have seen significant improvement in his math skills. Like many students, Elan's biggest challenge in the past has always been focusing on his work and just getting started on it. Although he won't admit it, we believe that the strategies employed by Mathnasium have made it easier for him to hit the ground running and stay focused while doing math work. Knowledge retention has been good as we have seen him apply what he's learned to everyday math and his school work.
Mathnasium provides a relaxed learning environment with almost 1 to 1 interaction between the instructor and the student. They offer rewards and incentives that positively reinforce good results in turn giving their students something to be excited about as well as fostering the necessary confidence building skills allowing them to learn and excel independently. Overall, the Mathnasium model works for us.
