We just moved to Virginia Beach from South Florida, so this was our first time to Pigtails and Crewcuts. Lindsay cut the hair for both of my boys and she was absolutely amazing! She is patient and kind. She made sure my boys were comfortable, especially my son that has mild autism. I would HIGHLY recommend Lindsay for your child's next haircut. We will for sure be back for our next round of haircuts!
Henriette is so wonderful with my kid’s hair. She is gentle and sweet and is the first child stylist we have been to that gives them great haircuts on top of great customer care.

My 2 year old grandson has been terrified of haircuts. Danielle has been wonderful in making him comfortable with the haircut process. She knows how to handle the difficult ones. She has promised me that it would become less and less stressful for him if we were consistent in bringing him back to her, and this has definitely happened. Each time gets a bit easier for him. I highly recommend Danielle. It takes a village-others in the salon have to help her hold his head still and everyone there is sweet and cooperative. Shout out & gratitude to Christian for knowing exactly how to distract my grandson with cars, trucks and vehicles!
I loved everything!! Mr. AJ was great! All of the decor and products in the salon to help kids get comfortable and entertained. You all were so patient and professional since it took him a while to get comfortable. I was expecting him not to leave with a haircut he ended up giving Mr. AJ a high five. lol. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful experience at pigtails and crewcuts. Typically, I would never consider using a shop that specializes in children. I’m an adult that doesn’t have kids yet and none of my friends have kids yet either. I came to pigtails and crewcuts because wigs for kids recommended you guys for my donation cut. My expectations were blown away. Mary C. Did a great job and was very funny as well. I’d come back again for a non-donation cut. Took off 1 star in my recommendation because there were a lot of kids crying lol I was advised that if I came around lunchtime they’re would be more adult appointments.

Ms. Maria was wonderful with our lil one giving her direction and being patient and calm when she was wiggling and moving. Her haircut came out perfect we were so worried cause our lil one is easily distracted. Ms. Maria handled her well and gave her a beautiful cut. Now her hair is full of volume and back to its lushness. We are very pleased. Will be back for sure!

We came in to see Beth for a redo on my two year old son’s hair. Due to my error, I had booked for the wrong date 🤦🏽♀️ but thankfully Beth squeezed us in. She was able to thin out the top of his hair and clean up some edges. His hair turned out so much better. My husband and I were so happy of the outcome. We received our certificate with his photo and my son was gifted a toy in which he loves. Thank you Beth for taking the time to reach out to speak to me and giving us another opportunity for a better experience. We appreciate you for taking us in when after I was the one who messed up the dates. You are truly the best! Thank you 🫶🏼
So patient and kind, with lots of toys and tvs for distraction. I couldn't have found a better place to get our son's first haircut at. Rose was awesome! We will definitely be returning!
