Engaging and patient teachers. Made it fun to the kids. Teachers are all professional with real music backgrounds and an understanding of music theory.
There's many offerings that I like and enjoy, I mostly like the flexibility of scheduling. My job is not a typical Monday thru Friday 9-5 job, so having the flexibility of scheduling is great.
Both of my kids are enjoying their lessons. There is varying quality of instruction base don the instructor, and some turnover which affects progress, vs going to an individual owner/operator.
My three grandchildren had a great experience at the weeklong summer camp. They came away very excited about music- singing and playing instruments. The instructor was very positive and the kids loved him. Not only was he musically talented-he was perfect for kids aged 4-6!
I initially brought my daughter to the school to explore early music education and foster her interest of music. She’s tried a variety of instruments and it changes by the week what she wants to try. She enjoys music, which is the goal. But while I was waiting as a parent, through the offer and encouragement of Buddy Bryant, tried out a long time wish to learn drums for myself (piano for three years in middle school). I’ve enjoyed the lessons with a very knowledgeable instructor, Alsonzo. Buddy, Jeff, and the Midlothian staff have been very helpful finding a schedule time that works with good instructors to keep it fun.
My granddaughter had a great time at Glee Club this summer. Everyday after camp, she met me with a big grin. I do wish that there had been more kids enrolled (only 3 and 1 dropped out).
Our daughter and her friends had a great time at her birthday party. The 2 associates working with them were very patient and worked well with the kids! Thank you for making it fun for the kids!
We hope to sign our kids up for lessons in the future!
